Corporate events in Paderborn.

Conference room with a raised floor, ballroom with a stage, or a beer garden in summer: because the venues in Paderborn differ so much, I first ask about the programme and the space. Five addresses show how different your evening in Paderborn can turn out: a celebration in a festival hall, an evening in a museum's conference centre, the sprawling Schützenhof, a conference house or on castle grounds.

Festival hall or conference centre: corporate event in Paderborn

Which venues in Paderborn come into question depends on your number of guests: a festival hall on the Heiersmauer, the conference centre in the museum, the spacious Schützenhof or castle grounds. That also determines how large the sound system for your guests has to be.

At the entrance I think with you about where guests arrive and start talking; in a conference room a lot depends on which media technology the venue provides. We enter speeches, awards and breaks together in a schedule, and I take care of setting up and dismantling without help.

Paderhalle

Heiersmauer, Paderborn

The hall dating from 1981 lists banquets, balls and parties on its website, as well as conferences and staff meetings. With a venue of this size we clarify early on whether the in-house technology is used or whether my system complements it.

Conference centre at the Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum

Fürstenallee, Paderborn

The conference centre lists event rooms for up to 410 people, air-conditioned and with permanently installed media technology; seminars, congresses and events are named as occasions on its website. Whether an evening celebration is possible is something you clarify with the venue. We then tailor the sound to the existing technology.

Schützenhof

Schützenplatz, Paderborn

Five freely combinable rooms totalling 3,000 square metres, parkland and, in summer, its own beer garden: that is how the Paderhalle describes its neighbour. Which room combination suits your team and when it is free, the operator can tell you.

Liborianum

An den Kapuzinern, Paderborn

Among the occasions the house lists are conferences. Whether an evening programme for your team is possible there, ask the Liborianum; afterwards we adjust the music to the room.

Schloss Neuhaus

Schloß Neuhaus, Paderborn

The castle with four round towers took its present form around 1590, and the Schloßsommer has been held in the castle park since 1995. Which rooms come into question for your celebration, you can ask those responsible; within historic walls we clarify the routes for the equipment beforehand.

Rooms, occasions and size details come from Wikipedia and from the websites of the operators named (as of October 2026). Please ask each venue directly about available dates.

Who I am

Michael Zimmermann – beats per micha.

A company party in Paderborn often begins with a speech on the state of the business and ends on a dance floor where the management stands next to the apprentice. In between, the schedule of your evening decides which music fits. My career began at the decks of a discotheque, and today more than 1450 private and corporate events stand behind me.

In a city with a university, a computer museum and many mid-sized companies, I first listen to who is in the room with you before I pick a song. I mix the transitions myself so that no programme item ends abruptly; I bring the sound system and microphones, and if the venue has its own technicians, I coordinate directly with them.

At staff parties several generations dance together, which is why soul sits alongside the charts in my sets. Once you have booked me, I plan the music step by step through to the last track.

Music genres

From seventies soul to current charts, we set your programme together, and I link the styles into one evening.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

Setup takes around 40 minutes and about 2.5 by 1.5 meters of floor space, and afterwards I pack everything up myself again. For that, about 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.

Gala ballroom with stage, set tables and DJ booth (AI-generated) Premium

Gala & Awards

I take a gala evening or a company anniversary as seriously as any other celebration, from the first guest to the farewell.

Optional: extras

If you wish, I include live music, a photo station or uplights in the same coordination.

Good questions

What organisers in Paderborn want to know.

These are the questions organisers ask me most often, and if yours isn't there, just get in touch with me directly.

Our company in Paderborn develops software and is celebrating a product launch: does your music suit a young team?

Yes, I begin with well-known tracks from recent decades and then open the evening up to current songs. How relaxed or formal your party should be, we discuss in the preliminary call.

We are a family business with staff from three generations: how do you bring everyone along?

I choose songs known from the apprentice to the senior boss and mix them with new ones. You tell me which styles must not be played at all, and I leave them out.

Our anniversary party includes awards and a ceremonial speech: how do you fit in the music?

I receive the schedule of your evening beforehand and place the music accordingly. Before every speech I pull it back, after the last honour I lift the tempo, so the ceremony turns into a party.

We expect over three hundred guests in the festival hall: is your equipment sufficient?

I cover a party of up to 150 people with my standard setup. If more guests are registered, I bring in a technical partner; we settle in good time who that is, so that the sound reaches every corner.

How much lead time should we allow when booking you for our company party?

Around four to eight weeks of planning time is enough to prepare your evening in its usual setting well. The bigger the event, or the closer peak season gets, the earlier you should get in touch with me. You will usually hear from me the same day.

Our purchasing department requires a written quote in advance: is that possible?

Yes, you receive a written quote in advance, the invoice goes to your company after the event and is due within 7 days. I will add a purchase order number or cost centre if you wish.

What sets me apart

DJ+ – my extra for special evenings.

If you would like vocals, violin, saxophone or percussion, I bring in musicians from my network. When in the evening a performance works best, we decide together beforehand.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Main-time peak · gala champagne reception

DJ + saxophone

At a reception in the foyer or on the terrace, a saxophone feels relaxed and elegant, especially when the evening turns into night.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Summer party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

In a wide hall, percussion gives the mix punch without having to set up an entire band with equipment.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Live-band feeling · party time & special moments

DJ + vocals

If you want to combine conference seriousness with party mood, have a singer perform well-known hits live and get the staff singing along.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Galas & awards · music from the first note

DJ + violin

A gala calls for the sound of a violin, which opens the reception with dignity and immediately gives guests the feeling of a special evening.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

I am also at the decks for your corporate events in Bad Lippspringe, Salzkotten and Delbrück; you will find further areas I cover at the bottom of the page.

For your corporate event in Paderborn you tell me the occasion, date and approximate number of guests, and then we talk about music, programme and venue in a video call. Which programme points follow when, we put in writing shortly before the date. On the day of the event the equipment is ready after about 40 minutes, and I check the sound in the empty hall. My standard system covers up to 150 guests, for larger groups I bring in technical partners; a footprint of 2.5 by 1.5 metres is needed.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

An evening made up only of Ballermann and schlager hits is not my programme. A few sing-along classics go down well at any company party, but for me they are an extra, nothing more. Nor do I offer techno that leaves the guests out, request lists that are worked through rigidly, or festival formats with several stages. If that's what you're looking for, you're better off with colleagues who specialise in it.

I mix live for guests who expect an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, more than pressing play. That is why I tell you in advance what I don't do, so that you aren't disappointed on the night.

If that doesn't suit your event, I'm not the right DJ, and that's perfectly fine. If it does, we'll sort out everything else together.
