Celebrating on the Warnow
Whether restaurant, banquet hall or hotel salon, what matters is the number of your guests, because my system is sized to it. Five venues are on offer for your party: a zoo with catering, a hotel in Warnemünde, a city hall with a lounge, a resort at the marina and an exhibition centre with halls.
Rostock offers you spaces ranging from the zoo and the hotel in Warnemünde to the lounge in the StadtHalle. The size of my system depends on your guest count: a small group gets a compact setup, a large party gets stronger sound.
A party in the garden or in a flat is also possible; for that I bring a compact set that needs no mains connection. We clarify beforehand how much space you have for the setup, and the setup itself takes about 40 minutes.
The zoo explicitly lists birthdays and anniversaries as occasions and offers catering from coffee to a multi-course menu. You can find out which rooms are available from the zoo, and after that I plan how much equipment fits in.
The hotel offers rooms and halls for up to 100 people and lists celebrations as a separate area. This format suits a birthday with a medium-sized guest list, and as soon as you have chosen the room, I position the speakers and decks to suit its shape.
Among the rooms at the StadtHalle, the operator lists the Craft Beer Lounge with 310 square metres, and Hall 4 measures 100 square metres. For a milestone birthday, I will look with you for the size that fits your guest count.
Besides weddings, galas and corporate events, the venue also lists private parties and, according to the operator, has 20 conference and event rooms. I ask you about the room first before I decide how big my system will be.
The HanseMesse lists weddings and celebrations as an event type. According to the operator, the Wismar hall holds up to 150 people. At that size I bring my full system and set it up so that your guests can still talk alongside the music.
Rooms, capacities and occasions come from the operators' websites, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free and how many guests fit in, you can only find out directly from the venue.
Who I am
You invite people to Rostock, and I take care of the sound. For me, how a party goes depends on listening: who is coming, what do you like to dance to, what must never be played? I started mixing in 1998, and by now more than 1450 events lie behind me.
I blend classics and current hits with my own transitions so that your older and younger guests all find their way onto the floor. Tell me beforehand what you like, and you can enjoy the party yourself. I will follow your lead.
How it works
Your date and your location are enough for the first message. I reply within 24 hours, followed by a video call, setup and the party.
Request a dateAfter your inquiry it takes one day at most until you hear from me. In a short video call you tell me about your birthday, then you receive your offer.
With your booking you receive my mobile number, since WhatsApp is the quickest way to reach me. About a week before the party we sort out requested songs, no-gos and the schedule.
Before your guests arrive, I get set up: setup takes about 40 minutes, plus the soundcheck and final arrangements with you or the venue.
As guests arrive, soft lounge music plays so they can start chatting. For the birthday guest or a special moment, I pick exactly the music that fits.
I give the evening's programme the right tone: music for the meal, the microphone for speeches and announcements, tracks for games, surprises and the cutting of the cake.
As soon as the dance floor is open, the evening is in my hands. I read the mood, change the set on the spot to suit your guests and keep young and old on the floor until the last track plays.

For your birthday I build a set that belongs to you alone and keep developing it over the course of the evening. Tracks from several decades get even those onto the floor who only meant to watch. A balcony, a garden or a flat is enough for me, because I carry my compact setup in myself. If a slideshow is running or someone gives a speech, I turn the music down right away.

Current hits sit alongside classics from many decades in my sets, and I collect your requests in advance without stubbornly working through a list at the booth.
Equipment and soundcheck are ready before your guests arrive, and after the party I take everything down myself. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.
You decide which extras to add: lighting, photo station, live music or audio guest book, and I take care of the coordination.

+49 176 700 580 27In a small group especially, it pays to have someone at the decks who notices when your guests feel like moving. I bring my own system unless your venue has a suitable one. I keep the volume at a level where you can still talk alongside the music.
A wireless microphone is ready for you. You or your friends can speak whenever you like, and I lower the music for that. How much I speak into the microphone myself is up to you.
Yes, just let me know briefly, and I will work the track in as soon as it fits the flow. Your prepared list remains my foundation, but your guests are welcome to have a say too.
For a milestone birthday in summer, get in touch as early as possible, because popular weekends are booked quickly. For a smaller group, a few weeks are often enough for me. Send me your date, and I will tell you by the next day at the latest whether it is free.
Gladly, through my network I can get you percussion, vocals, violin or saxophone that play live along with my set. When the musicians come in, we discuss together before the party.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
