Company parties in Rostock
Hotel resort, exhibition hall or city hall: in a Hanseatic city with such different venues, I first ask about program, room and number of guests. Five addresses, from the resort in Warnemünde via the city hall and exhibition center to the zoo, show the range for your company evening: a gala in a ballroom, a conference with an evening program or a summer party.
The range of Rostock venues starts with the resort at the Warnemünde yacht harbour with 20 event rooms and ends with the MesseHalle with 10,600 square metres. I choose my equipment to suit each hall, and for that I need the occasion, format and expected number of attendees in advance.
For a conference with an evening programme we split the day in two halves: speeches by day, music in the evening. We put the schedule of dinner, talks and dance floor in writing, and setting up and taking down is on me.
The operator lists corporate events, conferences, seminars and galas and cites around 3,000 square meters across 20 rooms, with events possible for up to 1,000 people. At this size, I coordinate sound and setup with you early.
The HanseMesse lists trade fairs, congresses, corporate events as well as sports and cultural events as occasions. According to the operator, the MesseHalle offers 10,600 square meters of column-free usable space, and there are also halls and the Rotunde foyer. Whether your evening takes place in the hall or in a room determines my setup.
The StadtHalle lists conferences, congresses and gala events. According to the operator, it includes a welcome foyer of 2,400 square meters, conference rooms 7 and 8 with 155 square meters each, and a roof terrace on the north side. If your evening moves from the room to the roof, I plan the transition of the music with you.
The zoo offers company parties, summer parties and Christmas parties, also with a zoo tour, as well as conferences, seminars and team building. According to the zoo, catering ranges from coffee and cake to multi-course menus. You clarify which rooms are available to you with the zoo, and I adapt my equipment accordingly.
The hotel offers rooms and halls for up to 100 people for business meetings and celebrations and lists conferences and seminars as a separate area. This format is sufficient for an evening program after a conference, and I tailor my system to the booked room.

Who I am
Rostock is a port, university and trade fair city, and the teams I create evenings for are just as varied. First I ask about the occasion, program and number of guests. I started in 1998 and have also been playing company celebrations since 2004.
In the initial conversation, by phone or video call, we decide when there is talking and when there is dancing. My edits let the sections flow into one another without anyone noticing the change. On the day of the event, I bring equipment and wireless microphones, set everything up and check the sound.

I hear in the room which track works for which generation and adjust the mix continuously instead of working through a list. I've mastered the balancing act between company culture and party mood since 2004. For the transition from dinner to party, I keep time free so that a long speech doesn't slow the evening down. Up to 150 guests, I provide all the equipment myself, and for larger events I bring in reliable technical partners.

Your music wish list is the starting point, and then I clarify details myself with the venue and service providers so that you don't have to chase anyone. Tracks and topics that don't suit the occasion, I note in our conversation and keep out of the program consistently.

From seventies soul to today's charts, we agree on your music program in advance, and I blend the styles into a whole.
I'm ready before doors open, set up the system calmly and clear everything away myself after the last track. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.

For a gala or anniversary celebration too, I apply the same standard as for any company party, from the first guest to the farewell.

+49 176 700 580 27I listen to the empty room before doors open and place the speakers so that speech stays intelligible and the music doesn't blur. For very large halls, I bring in technical partners on request, which we agree on in the initial conversation.
Up to about 150 guests, my own equipment is enough. Beyond that I bring in technical partners, and I'll tell you early if the numbers call for it.
We decide that together in the initial conversation, based on your program. You give me the times, I bring the music down for each item and bring it back up afterwards.
Around Hanse Sail, Rostock is very busy, so you should inquire about the date with me as early as possible. I reply by the next day at the latest.
If you are celebrating in November, it is best to write to me four to eight weeks beforehand; if the event is large or the season is pressing, please do so even earlier. I reply to your message within 24 hours; I send you the invoice after the event.
Gladly: my network provides saxophone, violin, percussion or vocals, and the musicians accompany my mix live. When the performance fits into your schedule, we clarify in the preliminary talk.

This is how we work together on your corporate event in Rostock: you tell me the occasion, the date and the number of participants, and in a video call we discuss music, program and venue. Right before the event, I go through the schedule with you once more. On the day of the event I am on site before doors open and check the empty room. For small groups my sound system is enough, and for large numbers of participants I bring in technical partners.

Transparency
A pure Ballermann and schlager programme? That is not part of my repertoire. A few sing-along titles are welcome at company parties, but building a whole evening on them goes against my style. The same goes for techno with no connection to your audience, for rigid request lists and for festivals with several stages. There are colleagues who do exactly that gladly and well.
My strength is mixing live for guests with a sense for the right moment: precise transitions, the right track at the right time, rather than letting a playlist run. That is why I would rather tell you straight away what I don't offer than have you disappointed on the night.
If that doesn't suit your event, I'm not the right choice, and that's perfectly fine. If it does, we'll discuss everything else.
