I started in 1998, have played private parties since 2004, and after more than 1450 events I sense early where the mood is heading. Celebrations between the Taunus and the Rhine
A winery cellar, a café with a terrace or a hall on the hill each call for a different sound, and I tailor my suggestion to the room you are celebrating in. Six venues are available for your birthday: a hall on the Neroberg, a café with a terrace in the city centre, a castle and three wineries in the Rheingau and in Hochheim.
Whether a hall with a view, a café with a terrace, a winery or a castle in the Rheingau: in Wiesbaden you have a choice for your party. The size of my system depends on the number of guests, from a small circle of friends to a big family; you just give me the address.
For a celebration in your own four walls or in the garden, I bring a handy set that can play without a mains connection if necessary. I ask beforehand about space, power and setup time, so that on the day itself you have time for your guests.
The Drei Lilien Saal on the Neroberg lists birthdays, anniversaries and private parties as occasions and describes a panoramic view over the Rhine-Main region, with a terrace in summer. Whether you start inside in the hall or outside decides how I set up my equipment.
The ahoi Café rents out its event space for birthdays, weddings and parties, with an outdoor area and terrace. According to the operator, up to 60 people fit, and a projector, wireless microphones and a mixing desk are available. Where equipment is already there, I clarify in advance what I use and what I bring myself.
The Gutshaus in Hattenheim mentions private parties and birthdays. For the party after dinner there is a vaulted cellar where, according to the operator, a live band or DJ is possible, and the Kaminsaal holds up to 100 people. Between the Kaminsaal and the cellar, we work out together where the dance floor goes.
At Schloss Vollrads the operator lists birthdays, christenings, anniversaries in small groups and summer parties, up to 200 people. The estate restaurant in the castle has a garden. Outdoors I keep my setup light and arrange the music so that people can still talk comfortably.
The Weingut Rebenhof in Hochheim mentions family celebrations, birthdays and golden weddings. According to the operator, the rooms suit 40 to 80 people, and a sparkling wine reception can be held in the courtyard. For this size I set up small and shape the music around your circle.
The Weingut Hans Bausch in Hattenheim lists family celebrations such as birthdays alongside weddings and wine tastings. According to the operator, up to 120 people are possible; the usable area is 350 square metres, 150 of them covered, with a view of the vineyards. How much equipment I bring depends on the number of guests you expect.

Who I am
You invite people to Wiesbaden, and I bring the sound. I have been behind the decks since 1998, first in a nightclub, and from 2004 at private and corporate celebrations, with more than 1450 events so far. To me a good party does not need a rigid plan, but someone who listens.
My edits blend classics and current hits so that younger and older guests all dance along. Tell me your wishes and no-gos beforehand, and the evening runs without a big show, and you can enjoy the party yourself instead of worrying about the equipment.
How it works
Send me the date and place of your party, and I will reply the same or the next day, followed by a video call, setup and the party. In between, I answer your questions myself.
Request a dateAfter your enquiry you will hear from me within a day. In a short video call you tell me about your birthday, and then you receive your quote.
When you book, you receive my mobile number, because WhatsApp is the quickest way. About seven days before the party we talk about favourite songs, no-gos and the schedule.
Before the guests arrive, I set up; one to two hours is enough for the equipment and sound check. I settle any last questions with you or the venue so that everything runs quietly and unobtrusively.
Gentle lounge music helps guests start conversations as they arrive. For the birthday guest and special moments, I choose the tracks that fit exactly.
The programme of the evening gets the right tone from me: music for the meal, the microphone for speeches and announcements, tracks for games, surprises and the cake cutting.
As soon as the dance floor opens, I take over. I read the mood, change the set on the spot to suit the guests and keep young and old on the floor until the last song plays.

Your birthday gets a set from me that I put together just for you and keep developing as we go. Tracks from several decades also pull onto the floor those who only meant to watch. For my setup, a balcony, a garden or your living room is enough, and I carry the compact setup in myself. As soon as a slideshow is running or someone is speaking, I turn the music down.

Current hits and classics from many decades play side by side in my sets, and I collect your requested tracks in advance without rigidly working through a list at the decks.
Well over two hours before the guests arrive, my equipment is set up and sound-checked, and after the party I take everything down myself. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) setup takes around 40 minutes.
Which extras are added is entirely your decision, whether lighting, photo station, live music or audio guest book, and I handle the coordination.

+49 176 700 580 27Even with twenty guests I sense who wants to dance and play accordingly. If your venue has no good sound system, mine takes over the sound; if a usable one is there, I connect to it. For a small group, the equipment stays discreet so that the mood stays cosy.
Of course: the wireless microphone at the desk is yours whenever you want to say a few words. Your friends can have it too if they have prepared a toast or a game. Whether and how much I make announcements myself, we settle before the party.
Yes, a quick word at the booth is enough for me, you do not need a form. If a request would break the mood at that moment, I note it for a better time. Your list remains the foundation, but your guests help shape the evening too.
For a milestone birthday in a hall or winery you should allow several months, because I book popular Saturdays early. For a small party a few weeks of planning is often enough for me. If it is urgent, call or write to me, and you will know the same day.
Gladly, a saxophonist plays live over my mix, and I will pass the contact on to you. If you would rather have vocals, violin or percussion instead of the saxophone, I can arrange those musicians for you too. We discuss when the performance works best in our first conversation.

Transparency
A whole evening of nothing but Schlager and Ballermann, hour after hour? A few big crowd-pleasers in between, when the mood calls for it, belong to a good birthday party for me. Building a whole evening on them alone isn't my thing, though. I'm just as little the right person for non-stop techno sets without any contact with the crowd, for rigid request lists that get worked through from top to bottom, or for festival formats with several stages. There are other DJs who can do exactly that and love it, nothing against them, it's simply not my speciality.
My craft is mixing live for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
