Wedding venues in Wiesbaden

Weddings in Wiesbaden.

Before setting up, I ask about the house, the hall and the outdoor space, because a marble terrace, a vaulted cellar and a castle hall each need their own approach. I introduce six venues, from the Kurhaus in the city centre and castles to the monastery in the Rheingau, and for each one I plan the setup and schedule with you.

Castle, manor house or garden: a wedding in Wiesbaden

Between the Kurhaus with its Wintergarten, a palace in Biebrich and the monastery in the Rheingau, you have very different stages to choose from for your celebration. Because every room has its own sound, I choose speakers, setup and schedule only once your venue is settled.

For a large hall I plan more headroom for sound and light than for a reception on the terrace. If your celebration has a theme, tell me which songs fit it and which must never be played. Long before the first guest arrives, I set up, so that your reception can start without any rush.

Kurhaus Wiesbaden

Kurhausplatz 1, Wiesbaden

On its wedding page, the Kurhaus lists receptions and wedding celebrations, including a winter garden with a view of the Kurpark. Because the house offers several rooms and outdoor areas, I clarify with you beforehand where music should play and where calm is intended.

Jagdschloss Platte

An der B417, Wiesbaden

Jagdschloss Platte on the edge of the city lists weddings among its occasions. According to the operator, the whole house over two floors and 660 square metres of event space are available for 600 guests. With two floors, we think together about whether the reception and the dancing take place separately, and then I set up my equipment.

Chausseehaus Wiesbaden

Chausseehaus 7, Wiesbaden

The Chausseehaus at the Wiesbaden city forest lists weddings, family celebrations and terrace receptions, and has a marble terrace of 450 square metres. The operator normally plans for 50 to 150 people. If you start outside and carry on celebrating indoors, I provide a transition that takes the music with you.

Schloss Henkell

Biebricher Allee 142, Wiesbaden

Schloss Henkell, the original home of the sparkling wine producer in Biebrich, lists weddings alongside company parties and galas. According to the operator, the marble hall measures 490 square metres with a ceiling height of almost 13 metres and holds up to 800 people, while the smaller halls hold 100 to 150. I choose the size of my sound system according to the hall, and we discuss that beforehand.

Schloss Vollrads

Schloss Vollrads 1, Oestrich-Winkel

At Schloss Vollrads, the operator lists weddings, christenings and birthdays as occasions, and according to the operator there is room for up to 200 people. There is also a leather-wallpaper room from the 17th century and the former castle nursery as an outdoor venue in the vineyards. For an open-air reception, my sound system runs on battery.

Kloster Eberbach

Eltville im Rheingau

The Kloster Eberbach foundation lists wedding celebrations, anniversaries and corporate events. According to the operator, the hotel's function room for up to 90 people is intended for weddings, and there is also a prelate's garden with roses and a fountain. In historic walls, I ask the house beforehand which equipment is allowed.

Rooms, venues and occasions are taken from the operators' own websites, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free and how many guests fit in the house, you clarify directly with the respective operator.

Humanist ceremony in Wiesbaden

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

Who I am

Servus, that's me, Micha.

Before I play, I listen to you, because your wedding in Wiesbaden should sound like you and not like my playlist. In 1998 I stood behind the decks in a nightclub for the first time, from 2004 private and corporate celebrations were added, and by now it is over 1450 events and more than 650 weddings.

With my own edits I connect tracks from several decades so that grandparents, friends and colleagues dance together. I do not push myself forward; the music carries the evening and you are at the centre. Later you should be able to say: that was our celebration.

How it works

From the enquiry to the last hour of your wedding in Wiesbaden.

You write me a short message, my reply comes within 24 hours, and after that a video call, arrangements and setup carry you through to the first dance.

Request a date
  1. Enquiry & first chat

Send me the date and venue as soon as both are fixed, and I will get back to you the same day, at the latest within 24 hours. The video call comes without sales pressure: first getting to know each other, then ideas, then your quote.

  2. Booking & portal access

After booking, your wedding portal opens. In it you gather special moments, no-gos, favourite songs and the schedule, and about a week before the celebration we go through everything by phone.

  3. Set-up & sound check

While you are getting ready, I am already at the venue, at least two hours before the start. I set up, check the sound, coordinate with the speaker and the photographer, and keep the technology in the background for the guests.

  4. Ceremony & reception

For the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit, I use music to set the mood. At the reception, quiet lounge music plays, and where there is no power outside, the battery helps.

  5. Dinner & programme items

The meal gets a calm soundtrack, there is a wireless microphone for speeches, and games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get the right sound.

  6. Opening dance & party

With your chosen edit you open the dancing, then the party begins. I read the floor, adapt the set on the spot and keep all generations moving until the evening ends.

Everything behind
the mix

Several generations often sit at your tables, which is why soul classics and current chart hits share an evening with me. From the first contact to the last song, the music stays in one pair of hands.

Mixed live, microphone only when needed

What plays next, I decide by the mood in the room; I hold back, because the microphone belongs to the speeches and programme items.

Festival hall in blue and violet uplighting Add-on

LED uplights bathe the room in your chosen colour, and as the evening goes on, the light moves along with the beat of the music.

I reply to your enquiry within 24 hours, and we stay in constant contact until the wedding day.

An evening that is planned beforehand

We clarify requests and no-gos straight away in the first conversation, and afterwards I coordinate the details with your venue and the other suppliers.

Music genres

I mix disco classics, nineties hits and current charts according to what your guests' mood calls for; no fixed list dictates the order.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

I arrive at least two hours before the start, set up calmly, test the sound and take everything down myself after the celebration. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup area, no stairs or lifts) the setup takes around 40 minutes.

Frequently asked questions

What couples in Wiesbaden want to know.

These are the questions couples ask me most often, and if yours is missing, just give me a call.

+49 176 700 580 27
Can the sparkling wine reception in the vineyard have live music even though there is no power outlet?

Yes, a battery powers my system, so your reception in the open air needs no extension cables. Whether the venue allows equipment outdoors, we ask the operator in good time, and I take care of that.

Can we choose the pieces for the entrance and exit at our humanist wedding ceremony in Wiesbaden ourselves?

You choose in advance which pieces play for the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit; I play them through the battery-powered system, so no mains socket is needed. Whether your chosen venue permits a non-religious ceremony, you will learn from the venue itself.

How does the music get grandparents and friends dancing together?

All evening I watch which tables are still sitting, and I pick the next track so that it works for them. I link classics, chart hits and Schlager with my own edits. What absolutely must be played, or never, you tell me beforehand.

Can we add live music to the reception without hiring a full band?

From my network I can arrange a saxophonist, a violinist, vocals or percussion; the musicians join my mix live. Together we decide whether the live music accompanies your reception, the ceremony or the first dance.

Is your offer also suited to a very small wedding?

Yes, with twenty or thirty guests I bring a streamlined set. The standard setup covers up to about 150 guests, and all I need is a single power connection near the DJ booth.

How far in advance should we enquire about your availability for our wedding day?

I book summer Saturdays first, so it pays to enquire early for those; in quieter months three to six months is often enough for me. You will hear within 24 hours whether your day is free.

Even more options

DJ+ – live musicians right inside my mix.

If you would like live music at the drinks reception or the ceremony, I arrange saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin. When the performance works best, we discuss in good time before the celebration.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Sparkling wine reception · First dance

DJ + saxophone

A saxophone with the aperitif in the courtyard or on the terrace gives the reception a soft start, especially at dusk.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

Percussion after dessert adds weight to the beat, and after that the dance floor fills almost by itself.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Entrance · special moments

DJ + vocals

Live vocals give your wedding the glamour of a concert evening, and in the party phase the guests sing along at the microphone.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Ceremony · bride's entrance

DJ + violin

A violin accompanies the entrance with a festive sound and gives the dinner the setting of a gala evening.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

    Ballermann, après-ski, schlager hits?
A few songs here and there if it suits the mood – no problem.
But build a whole evening on them? That's not my thing.

There are DJs who can and want to do that.
    There are specialists for it.
    Nothing against them.
But it's not what I do.

I'm a specialist in live mixing at demanding events.
For people who understand that music is a craft.
    Precise transitions.
The right track at the right moment.
    Not just pressing play.

If that doesn't suit you – then I'm not the right person. And that's okay.
If it does – I'd love to.
