Company parties in Aachen

Company parties in Aachen.

Congress centre, hotel ballroom or castle hall: in Aachen the venues for company evenings are very different, so I first ask about programme and room. Six addresses show how different your evening in Aachen can turn out: as a banquet in the congress centre, as a reception in the Parkhotel, as a party in the historic ballroom or as an evening at a castle.

Congress centre or castle hall: corporate event in Aachen

For your event in Aachen, a congress hall on Monheimsallee, a park hotel, a historic ballroom or a palace in Laurensberg come into consideration. How much sound reinforcement is needed follows from room size and number of guests; we talk about that first.

In the foyer I ask where your guests arrive and start talking, in the castle hall which equipment the old walls can take. We put the schedule with speeches, awards and breaks in writing, and I handle setup and teardown on my own.

Eurogress

Monheimsallee, Aachen

The congress centre opened on 4 September 1977 and is now run under the name Aachen Event. The operator lists congresses, conferences and company parties; according to Wikipedia the Europa Hall holds up to 1,700 seats. For a hall of this size, we clarify early how the sound system will be set up and whether a technical partner joins in.

Parkhotel Quellenhof

Monheimsallee, am Kurpark

According to Wikipedia, the house dating from 1916 lists a ballroom for up to 500 people, 19 conference rooms and corporate events among its occasions. Where reception, speeches and dancing take place at your event, we plan as part of the schedule.

Schloss Rahe

Laurensberg, Aachen

According to Wikipedia, the moated castle inaugurated in 1787 serves conferences, concerts and celebrations. In historic rooms, we clarify in advance what sound system fits and where equipment may stand.

Altes Kurhaus

Komphausbadstraße, Aachen

The ballroom of the former Neue Redoute measures about 24 by 11 meters and holds up to 340 people; its use for private events is mentioned. Whether your company evening is possible there is something you clarify with the venue.

Aula Carolina

Pontstraße, Aachen

The former monastery church measures 570 square meters, and external events such as receptions are mentioned. For an evening in this space, we discuss with the venue what equipment fits and how the room sounds.

Burg Frankenberg

Frankenberger Viertel, Aachen

The castle is a community and cultural center and, according to the operator's website, offers room bookings. Which rooms come into question for your team is something you clarify with the association; we coordinate the music afterwards.

Rooms, occasions and size details come from Wikipedia and from the websites of the operators named (as of October 2026). Please clarify available dates directly with the respective venue.

Who I am

Michael Zimmermann – beats per micha.

Welcome, awards, dancing: the schedule of your evening in Aachen determines how I build the music. My career began behind the decks of a nightclub, and by now I have over 1450 private and corporate events behind me. In Aachen, institutes, technology companies, medium-sized businesses and service providers celebrate, and in every round I listen first to the tone of the room.

When speeches take place and when the party starts, we settle in the preliminary conversation. Because I cut the transitions myself, no item on your program ends abruptly. I bring the sound system and wireless microphones; if the venue has its own technicians, I coordinate directly with them.

At staff parties, several generations dance together, which is why soul sits next to the charts in my sets. After you book me, I plan the music step by step through to the last track.

The set grows live out of the mood in the room; I stay in the background and use the microphone only for speeches and program items.

An evening that is planned beforehand

First we collect your music requests, I coordinate with the venue and service providers myself, and I consistently leave out unsuitable tracks when you let me know.

Music genres

From seventies soul to the current charts, we define your program together, and I blend the styles into one evening.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

Setup takes around 40 minutes and about 2.5 by 1.5 meters of floor space, and afterwards I pack everything up myself again. For that, about 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.

Gala ballroom with stage, set tables and DJ booth (AI-generated) Premium

Gala & Awards

I take a gala evening or a company anniversary as seriously as any other celebration, from the first guest to the farewell.

Optional: extras

If you wish, I include live music, a photo station or uplights in the same coordination.

Good questions

What organizers in Aachen want to know.

Here is what organisers usually ask me before booking, and for anything else you can simply call me.

+49 176 700 580 27
Our institute in Aachen is celebrating its anniversary with PhDs, students and industry partners: How does your music suit such a mixed audience?

I start with tracks that all age groups know and then open up the evening slowly. Who sits at your table and how formal the evening should be, we discuss in the preliminary talk.

At our award ceremony, the dinner is interrupted several times: How do you keep the evening flowing?

I get the schedule from you and fill the breaks with quiet music that I fade out under every speech. After the last programme item I pick up the pace so the ceremony turns into a party.

We expect several hundred employees in a large hall: How do you solve that technically?

With my own system I cover groups of up to 150 people. Beyond that I bring in a technical partner, whom I agree with you early on so that your hall is covered evenly.

Our summer party takes place in an open-air courtyard: What happens if it rains?

We determine a fallback room in advance, to which I can quickly move the equipment. My setup takes about 40 minutes, so we plan the weather decision and the move together.

How long before our Christmas party should we contact you?

As a rule, four to eight weeks of lead time is enough; for large events or the peak season in Advent, please enquire earlier. I reply by the next day at the latest and keep the date open for you.

Our accounting department needs a quote in advance and then an invoice made out to the company: Is that possible with you?

Yes, you receive a written quote, and after the event I issue the invoice to your company, payable within 7 days. I'm happy to include order numbers or cost centres on it on request.

What sets me apart

DJ+ – my extra for special evenings.

If you would like vocals, violin, saxophone or percussion, I bring in musicians from my network. When in the evening a performance works best, we decide together in advance.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Main-time peak · gala champagne reception

DJ + saxophone

At the reception in the foyer or on the terrace, a saxophone feels relaxed and elegant, especially when the evening turns into night.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Summer party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

In a wide hall, percussion gives the mix punch without having to set up an entire band with equipment.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Live-band feeling · party time & special moments

DJ + vocals

If you want to combine conference seriousness and party mood, a voice sings well-known hits live and gets the workforce singing along.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Galas & awards · music from the first note

DJ + violin

A gala calls for the sound of a violin, which opens the reception with dignity and immediately gives guests the feeling of a special evening.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

For your corporate event in Aachen, tell me the occasion, date and approximate number of guests, and then we talk about music, program and room in a video call. We settle the stations of your evening together shortly beforehand. On the day of the event, the equipment is ready after about 40 minutes, and then I check the sound in the empty room. Who i'm not the right DJ for

A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.

My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.

If that doesn't fit your event, I'm not the right person, and that's perfectly fine. If it does fit, we'll discuss the details.
