Palace hotel, conference venue or community hall: the rooms for company evenings in Bergisch Gladbach vary a lot, which is why I first ask about the programme and the room. The conference center of the Archdiocese of Cologne has 158 hotel rooms, seminar rooms and the Aula as its largest hall. According to Wikipedia, it is open mainly to church and charitable groups. Whether a company evening is possible there is something to ask the venue; in an aula, I take the reverb into account.
The hotel next to the Gronauer Wald lists conferences, business dinners and celebrations on its website. How many guests fit into which room, you will learn from the venue. For a smaller company party, a compact sound system is enough for me.
The LVR Industrial Museum has been housed in a former paper mill on the Strunde since 1999 and shows, among other things, Paper Machine 4 from 1889. Special exhibitions are held in the drying house. Whether a company event is possible, you clarify with the operator; between machines, I plan the setup and cable routes in advance.

Welcome, awards, dancing: the flow of your evening in Bergisch Gladbach determines how I build the music. I started behind the decks of a discotheque, and by now I have over 1450 private and corporate events behind me. Family businesses, suppliers, agencies and teams who work in Cologne during the day celebrate here, and with every booking I first listen to the tone of the venue.
When speeches are planned and when the dancing starts, we settle in the preliminary talk. Since I build the transitions myself, no program item ends abruptly at your event. I bring the sound system and wireless microphones; if the venue has its own technicians, I coordinate with them directly.

First we note down your music requests, I coordinate with the venue and vendors myself, and tracks that do not fit I remove at your word, without exception.

From seventies soul to current charts: we put the program together jointly, and I tie the different directions into one evening.
Setup takes around 40 minutes on a footprint of about 2.5 by 1.5 meters, and afterwards I pack everything up myself. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.

+49 176 700 580 27To start, I choose tracks that everyone from the apprentice to the retiree knows, and only gradually move in faster directions. Which groups are part of your team, you discuss with me beforehand.
Tell me the last departure time, and I will place the awards and the shared dance before it. That way you experience your whole program before the first people have to leave.
For 120 people my basic equipment is enough without extra speakers, since I designed it for groups of up to 150 guests. Where the tent, the power connection and the setup area are, I ask you early on.
One month before the event is usually enough for me for music, technology and running order; with two months I have more room for your wishes. If you are planning during peak season or before Christmas, please inquire earlier, and I will reply by the next day at the latest.
I bring the music down in good time so you can give your speech without background sound. After the last word I guide your guests to the buffet with quiet music and only pick up the tempo later.
In advance you receive a written quote from me that lists all agreed points. After the evening I address the invoice to your company and add a purchase order number if you give me one.

Transparency
A pure Ballermann and schlager programme? That is not part of my repertoire. A few sing-along titles are welcome at company parties, but building a whole evening on them goes against my style. The same goes for techno with no connection to your audience, for rigid request lists and for festivals with several stages. There are colleagues who do exactly that gladly and well.
My strength is mixing live for guests with a sense for the right moment: precise transitions, the right track at the right time, rather than letting a playlist run. That is why I would rather tell you straight away what I don't offer than have you disappointed on the night.
If that doesn't suit your event, I'm not the right choice, and that's perfectly fine. If it does, we'll discuss everything else.
