Company parties in Frankfurt
Whether hall, warehouse or saloon ship: venues in a trade-fair and banking city differ greatly, so I first ask about your programme and your room. Six venues from the banqueting hall in the Westend to the saloon ship on the Main show how different your company evening can turn out: as a dinner for a small group, as a gala in the hall or as a party for hundreds.
The venues for your celebration range from the villa on the banks of the Main, where according to the operator standing receptions of up to 100 people are possible, to the Great Hall in the Zoo Gesellschaftshaus for up to 1,000 people. Which equipment I bring depends on the room you book, so I first ask you about the occasion, format and number of guests.
On a Primus Line boat, the operator says conference equipment with LED lighting is available, and we agree with you in advance how my music fits in. In the exhibition halls of an art association for up to 200 people, I deliberately keep things small. We set out dinner, speeches and dancing in the briefing. All the equipment is mine, and I take it away again after the last track.
The Gesellschaftshaus lists company parties, balls and gala dinners as occasions. According to the operator, the banqueting hall from 1870 holds 600 people with banquet seating, the whole house up to 2,000. In a hall of this size I agree sound and set-up with you early.
The Jahrhunderthalle in Höchst lists gala and Christmas party among its occasions. According to the operator, the Club holds 300 people with banquet seating, the Kuppelsaal about 800 with gala seating. With rooms this different, I agree beforehand which part of the house carries your programme.
The Zoo Gesellschaftshaus lists company parties, conferences, award ceremonies and staff events. According to the operator, the Great Hall measures 700 square metres plus 230 square metres of gallery and holds up to 1,000 people depending on furnishing. For a hall of this size I plan equipment and reserve more generously.
The Primus-Linie promotes corporate events on board, from incentives and kick-off meetings to presentations. According to the operator, a ship of the fleet is equipped with conference technology, audio and video equipment and adjustable LED lighting for business appointments. Because much is already available on board, I clarify with you and the operator beforehand how my music fits in.
The Frankfurter Kunstverein in the Steinernes Haus on the Römerberg lists company and reception-related events as well as a seminar room for workshops. According to the operator, the exhibition halls hold up to 200 people. Between the exhibition rooms I keep set-up and mix restrained.
The Villa Metzler on the Schaumainkai lists conferences, honours, invitations with dinner and standing receptions. According to the operator, the Weißer Saal accommodates 44 people at a laid table and standing receptions of up to 100 people. In a house of this size my system stays small and the music conducive to conversation.

I have stood at the decks since 1998, first in the nightclub, since 2004 at private and corporate celebrations, at more than 1,450 events. In the initial conversation by phone or video call we clarify with you when there is speaking and when there is dancing.
I stay in the background, and with my own edits the phases of your evening flow seamlessly into one another. For the date I bring equipment and wireless microphones, set up myself and do the sound check.

01At company parties of up to about 500 guests I tune the music to your company, and in the end the dance floor should still be full. Which track works with which generation, I hear in the room and continuously adjust the mix instead of working through a list. I have mastered the balancing act between company culture and party mood since 2004, also for corporations such as Audi, BMW, Microsoft or Amazon. For the transition from dinner to party I keep time free, so that a long speech does not slow down your evening. Up to 150 guests I provide the complete equipment myself; for larger events I bring in reliable technology partners.

Your music wish list is the start, then I clarify details myself with the venue and service providers, so that you do not have to chase after them. Tracks and themes that do not suit your occasion I note in the conversation and consistently keep out of the programme.

From the soul of the seventies to today's charts, we agree your music programme beforehand, and I combine the genres into one whole.
About two hours before admission I am ready to go, set up the system calmly and clear everything away myself after the last track. About 2.5 m width and 1.5 m depth are enough for that, and under normal conditions (car close to the set-up location, no stairs or lifts) the set-up takes around 40 minutes.

For your gala or anniversary celebration too, I apply the same standard as for every company party, from the first guest to the farewell.

+49 176 700 580 27Whether I use the house system depends on its condition, so I have specifications and photos sent to me beforehand. If it is good, I connect the controller and laptop there; otherwise my own PA is used. In the initial conversation you will find out what I recommend for your room.
I calculate the sound generously, so that late registrations do not throw you off. My own system covers up to 150 guests; for more visitors I bring in technology partners and announce this to you in good time.
In the briefing we put meals, speeches and interludes into an order, so that I know when which contribution starts. I use the microphone only for announcements from your programme. Afterwards I step into the mix in such a way that the transition to the party feels completely natural for your guests.
During the reception the sound stays subtle so that your guests can talk; in the second room I build the mix up step by step towards the dance floor. How the change works, we determine beforehand, also for the case that a programme item overruns; I coordinate the schedule with your venue.
For December dates it is best to get in touch early; four to eight weeks' notice is ideal, and the same applies in summer. My first reply comes at the latest on the day after your enquiry, and after the event you receive an invoice with a payment term of 7 days.
Gladly: on request, saxophone, violin, percussion or a voice from my network joins in, matched to my mix. Such a performance is particularly effective between courses or at the start of the dance floor, and you determine the timing with me in the briefing.

An evening without a break.
If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

For your corporate event in Frankfurt the collaboration works like this: first you describe the occasion, date and expected number of participants, then we talk by video call about music, schedule and room. Shortly before the event we go through the minutes of the evening with you in the briefing. On the day of the event I am ready before admission and test the sound in the empty hall. For a smaller audience my own system is enough; for large events I bring in technology partners.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
