Company parties in Hanover

Company parties in Hanover.

Dome hall, museum foyer or factory building at Pelikanplatz: every venue in Hanover needs its own coordination of sound system and layout, and we clarify that with you in advance. For your company evening in Hanover very different settings are available: the congress centre with its Kuppelsaal, the state museum, the Herrenhausen Gardens, the Pelikan factory, the zoo and a hotel on Luisenstraße.

Dome hall, museum or factory: company party in Hanover

Whether dome hall, museum foyer or factory hall at Pelikanplatz: companies in Hanover celebrate in very different places, and I align the system and layout accordingly.

If there are further rooms besides the main hall, you and I decide where the reception and the speeches take place and where dancing happens later. If you plan part of the event outdoors, draw up a rain plan early.

HCC Hannover Congress Centrum

Theodor-Heuss-Platz 1-3, Hanover

The HCC lists the Kuppelsaal with 4,530 square metres, the Glashalle with 1,095 square metres and the Leibniz Saal with 376 square metres, and names congresses, concerts, shows and catering events as well as receptions in the Stadtpark. With that range, we decide in which room guests are welcomed and in which the dancing happens later.

Landesmuseum Hannover

Willy-Brandt-Allee 5, Hanover

The museum rents out a foyer of 220 square metres with a gallery and a lecture hall of 130 square metres, and names company events and formal receptions as occasions. For standing receptions between display cases and foyer, I adjust the volume so that conversation stays possible.

Galerie Herrenhausen

Herrenhäuser Straße 4, Hanover

The gallery offers a hall of 700 square metres with a ceiling height of 4.1 metres; it names award ceremonies, receptions, banquets and cocktail parties. If an evening programme follows an award ceremony, I build the shift from speech to dancing into the music.

Sheraton Hannover Pelikan Hotel

Pelikanplatz 31, Hanover

The hotel uses the Pelikan factory built in 1906 and offers seven event rooms and a ballroom on one floor, all with daylight. When the conference and the evening party take place in the same building, I separate the two phases musically.

Erlebnis-Zoo Hannover

Adenauerallee 1, Hanover

The zoo offers Yukon Bay, the Prunksaal, the Festscheune and the Arena, among others, for company parties. With several rooms on the grounds, we clarify where the reception takes place and where the dancing happens in the evening.

Kastens Hotel Luisenhof

Luisenstraße 1-3, Hanover

The hotel has ten club rooms for meetings and lists honours, anniversaries and Christmas parties among its occasions. For an evening in a smaller circle, a discreet setup is enough here.

Rooms, occasions and area figures come from the operators' own pages, as of October 2026. Free dates can only be confirmed by the respective venue.

Who I am

Michael Zimmermann – beats per micha.

Hanover is a trade-fair city, and the people celebrating with you probably work in industry, insurance and services. So at your tables there are likely sales staff next to developers and trainees next to the management, and I align my music accordingly. I learned this craft at a club DJ booth, and only later did company and private parties follow.

In the preliminary talk, you and I decide when there will be speeches and when there will be dancing, and I build the transitions accordingly. On the day of the event, my system and wireless microphones are ready; I check the room before your guests arrive.

At your party several generations dance together, which is why soul and current charts play in the same set with me. From the inquiry to the last song you deal with a single person.

One fixed contact person

You will hear from me within 24 hours, and I support you personally until the date, with no waiting queue and no handing over to others.

An evening that is planned beforehand

It starts with your music wish list; I then clarify the details with the venue and service providers so that you do not have to run after anything. Songs and topics that do not suit your occasion, I keep out of the program on your instruction.

Turntable and mixing desk in warm light Open Format

Music genres

We clarify the program, from seventies soul to current charts, beforehand, and I mix the genres so that your staff celebrates together.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

Before doors open I am ready to go, set up in peace and clear everything away myself after the last song. For that about 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup location, no stairs or elevators) the setup takes about 40 minutes.

Gala & Awards

Gala or company anniversary: my standard stays the same, from the reception through the speeches to the dancing.

Optional: extras

Live music, photo station or uplights I organize personally on request, as part of the same planning.

Good questions

What organisers in Hanover want to know.

Here is what organisers usually ask me before booking, and for anything else you can simply call me.

+49 176 700 580 27
At our summer party in Hanover, production, sales and administration mingle: how do you shape the music?

First you and I clarify the occasion, the average age and the programme. With familiar tracks I win the floor, I note your management's requests in advance, and on site I adapt the set to the mood.

We are using a very large hall: how do you ensure the sound system covers it?

Up to about 150 guests my standard system is enough; in a very large hall I add speakers and discuss the setup with you.

An award ceremony follows the dinner: how does your music fit this part in?

You and I discuss the schedule in advance. For every speech I pull the music back, hand over the wireless microphone and afterwards lead gently back to the dance floor.

When do we need to get in touch for the Christmas party in Hanover so that it definitely works out?

Plan four to eight weeks; before December and during the big trade-fair weeks in spring you should enquire earlier. Within 24 hours I will tell you whether your date is free.

Can you also book musicians or a photo station for our company anniversary?

Yes, on request I arrange saxophone, violin, vocals or percussion and organise the photo station and uplights as well. I tailor every act to your programme, and I remain your only contact.

Our party takes place in a museum foyer: what matters there?

For a museum foyer I need from you the room size, access for the equipment and a contact at the venue. I arrange everything else with the operator, and before your guests arrive I test the sound in the empty foyer.

What sets me apart

DJ+ – my extra for special evenings.

If you need vocals, violin, saxophone or percussion, I arrange musicians from my network. We set the right moment in the briefing.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Main-time peak · gala champagne reception

DJ + saxophone

At a reception in a venue with a garden, a saxophone feels relaxed and elegant, especially when the evening turns to dusk.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Summer party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

On the wide floor of a large hall, percussion gives the mix punch and groove without needing a band to be set up.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Live-band feeling · party time & special moments

DJ + vocals

If you want to combine party spirit with class, bring in a singer who performs hits live and invites your guests up to the microphone.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Galas & awards · music from the first note

DJ + violin

At a gala, a violin lends the evening dignity, because its sound gives the welcome of your guests a festive frame.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

I also play at the decks for your company events in Langenhagen, Laatzen and Garbsen; you will find further locations in the list below.

This is how your company party in Hanover works: you tell me the occasion, date and number of guests, and in a video call we discuss music, programme and room. You and I agree the exact schedule in a briefing shortly before the event. On the day of the event I am at the venue before admission, set up my system and check the sound in the empty room. For very large guest lists I bring in technical partners; for small groups my own system is enough.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.

My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.

If that doesn't fit your event, I'm not the right person, and that's perfectly fine. If it does fit, we'll discuss the details.
