Company parties in Heidelberg
Whether Fasskeller, congress hall or a boat on the Neckar: in a university and science city the venues differ a lot, so I first ask about your program and your room. Six addresses, from the Fasskeller in the Schloss to the congress center in the Bahnstadt, show how different your company evening can look: as a dinner for a small group, as a gala in a hall or as a party for hundreds.
For your celebration in Heidelberg, the options include the Fasskeller in the Schloss, the congress centre in the Bahnstadt, the Güterbahnhof and the ships on the Neckar. Whether a small system or the full PA, the room you book decides, and so the occasion, number of guests and format come first in our conversation.
At the Güterbahnhof with hall, foyer and club, we need to clarify which area suits your program, and on board a ship the existing equipment is a factor. How dinner, speeches and party follow one another we record in the briefing; I do setup and teardown myself.
For corporate clients the Schloss lists meetings, incentives, congresses and events, and describes itself as also suitable for festive celebrations. According to its room database the Fasskeller measures 525 square meters and holds up to 600 people at a standing reception, the Königssaal measures 544 square meters and seats 264 at a banquet. For rooms of this size I coordinate the sound with you early.
The Heidelberg Congress Center opened in April 2024 and sits in the Bahnstadt opposite the main station. Besides the main hall there is another hall and ten meeting rooms, with 3,800 seats in total. Because meeting rooms and halls call for different equipment, we clarify in advance which part of the building carries your program.
For corporate events, halle02 refers to the Güterbahnhof and mentions talks, Christmas parties, summer parties and product presentations. The Güterbahnhof has six rooms, including hall, foyer, club and the open space Kleine Freiheit. In a venue with so many areas, we decide where your reception and where your dance floor go.
The Weisse Flotte Heidelberg rents out ships for corporate events, Christmas parties and congresses. According to the operator they suit anything from small groups to several hundred guests. Since much is already on board, I work out with you and the shipping company how my music fits in.
The Palais Prinz Carl on the Kornmarkt lists business events such as conferences, company parties, business dinners and Christmas parties. In the Spiegelsaal, according to the operator, long tables for up to 144 guests and round tables for up to 120 guests are possible, in each case without a dance floor. For dinner and dancing at the same time, we plan the room together.
Der Europäische Hof runs conferences and parties in six rooms of 77 to 180 square meters, which according to the operator can be combined for up to 100 guests. In a venue with several smaller rooms, my setup stays small and the music stays conversation-friendly.

Welcome, speeches, party: the sequence of your event in Heidelberg determines how I build your music. I have worked behind the decks since 1998, first in the nightclub, since 2004 at private and corporate parties, at more than 1450 events. In the preliminary call by phone or video call we settle with you when there is speaking and when there is dancing.
I stay in the background, and with my own edits the phases of your evening flow seamlessly into one another. On the day I bring the equipment and wireless microphones, set up myself and do the soundcheck.

01For company parties with up to around 500 guests, I tailor the music to your company and still make sure the dance floor is full. Who joins in at which song at what age, I sense in the room and steer the mix accordingly, instead of working through a list. I have been mediating between company culture and party mood since 2004, including for corporations such as Audi, BMW, Microsoft or Amazon. Between dinner and party I plan some breathing room, so that even a long speech doesn't slow down your evening. Up to 150 guests I provide all the equipment myself, and for larger events I bring in reliable technical partners.

It starts with your music wish list, and I handle the further communication with the venue and with service providers myself. Songs and topics that don't suit your occasion I consistently keep out of the program on your say-so.

From seventies soul to current charts, we go through your program beforehand, and I weave the styles together into one whole.
I'm ready to go about two hours before admission, set up in peace and take everything away again after the last track. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.

A gala or a company anniversary I treat with the same standard as any other party, from the arrival of the first guest to the farewell.

+49 176 700 580 27I decide based on the condition of the house system and ask you to send the data sheet and photos beforehand. If it's good enough, I use it with my controller and laptop, otherwise I bring my PA. I'll tell you which solution makes sense for you in our first conversation.
I size the sound system with a reserve so that latecomers won't throw you off. My system covers up to 150 guests, and for larger groups I bring in partners and let you know early on.
In the briefing we go through with you when the meal, the speeches and the acts are scheduled, so that I have every cue in view. I only speak on the microphone when your programme includes an announcement. After that I let the mix build slowly, so the party starts for your guests as if by itself.
In the first room I keep the sound quiet enough for conversation, in the second I raise it step by step up to the dance floor. A program item that runs longer is planned for too; we'll arrange the move with you and the venue.
For December, plan on three to six months of lead time, and the same for summer. I reply by the next day at the latest, and after the event you receive the invoice with 7 days to pay.
Yes, I arrange a musician from my network for you, for example for saxophone, violin, percussion or vocals; they play live along with my mix. A performance fits especially well in the break between two courses or before the dance floor opens, and we decide exactly when with you in the briefing.

An evening without a break.
If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

Here is how it works for your corporate event in Heidelberg: you tell me the occasion, date and expected number of guests, then we discuss music, schedule and room in a video call. Shortly before the date, I go through the individual stages of the evening with you in the briefing. On the day of the event, I'm ready before admission and check the sound in the empty room. For a small audience my system is enough, and for large events I bring in technical partners.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
