Company parties in Krefeld
Event hall, museum villa or old workshop hall: every room in Krefeld calls for different sound, so I first ask about the program and number of guests. Six addresses, from the event house on Theaterplatz via the museum villas to the factory of 1906, show how varied your company evening can look: as a conference in a hall, as a reception in a museum or as a summer party in the Stadtwald.
For your party in Krefeld, options include an event venue at Theaterplatz, a museum villa, a festival hall at the racecourse or a former factory hall. How much equipment the room needs depends on its size and on your guest numbers, and I ask about both first.
In a former factory hall I pay most attention to the reverb, in a museum to walls and walkways. We settle which programme items follow in which order in the briefing, and I bring the equipment in entirely on my own.
The hexagonal building from 1976 has four rooms, from Saal 1 with 700 square meters for up to 1,015 people to the Ponzelar & Schänke room for 30. Company parties, conferences, trade fairs, product presentations and Christmas parties are listed. Whether external equipment is permitted isn't stated on the site; we clarify that with the event team.
The museums invite companies to an exclusive evening in the Kaiser Wilhelm Museum, reopened in 2016, or in the villas Haus Lange and Haus Esters, whose gardens are part of the experience. The site gives no guest numbers. For music in a museum, what the house allows has to be clarified beforehand.
The venue explicitly lists company parties and staff celebrations. The Oetker Saal offers 140 banquet seats on 217 square meters, the Biebricher Saal 450 on 402 square meters. Sound and presentation technology as well as live music are possible according to the venue; we agree the split beforehand.
The former works kitchen of the Thyssen steelworks is now an event location with a main hall, stage and café area at the entrance. The operator lists company parties, conferences and seminars. The site gives no information on equipment, so I clarify early with the venue what is already there.
Company parties, summer parties and corporate events are on the venue's list. The Great Hall has a sun wing, the Waldschänke a terrace and Art Nouveau style. If the summer party is to be held outdoors, we clarify the power supply, weather protection and the route for the equipment in advance.
The listed factory of 1906 is a municipal cultural center that, according to its rules of use, is also open to companies. The large hall is used for parties, receptions and conferences, the restaurant for social events. How equipment and schedule fit with the venue, we clarify before the date.

From the soul of the seventies to today's charts, we agree your programme in advance, and I join the styles into a whole.
Setup takes around 40 minutes and needs about 2.5 by 1.5 metres, and after the last track I clear everything away again. About 2.5 m width and 1.5 m depth are enough for that, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) setup takes around 40 minutes.

+49 176 700 580 27I check photos and dimensions of the room beforehand and listen to it empty before doors open. I pay attention to reverb and walkways so your speeches stay intelligible in every corner. What is allowed for power and mounting, I clarify with you and the venue.
I begin with music that still allows conversation and raise the energy only once the hall fills up. Anyone who hesitates gets familiar sing-along tracks that I agree with you in advance.
I set a track sequence with you for walking on and off stage and fade the music on your cue. After each honor I come in with a piece that keeps the momentum.
My standard system manages up to 150 guests on its own. Beyond that I bring in technical partners, whom I introduce to you early so you know the solution before the date.
As a rule, four to eight weeks are enough; for large events and the peak season you should enquire earlier. You will hear back from me the following day.
Yes, I plan the timing of the performance with you and prepare my equipment so that I take over seamlessly. Whether your band uses its own amplifiers, we discuss beforehand.

Transparency
A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.
My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.
