Company parties in Mülheim
The sound your room in Mülheim needs, whether a banquet hall, theater foyer or ship deck, depends on the program and the number of guests, which is why I ask about these first. Four addresses, from the castle complex on the Ruhr riverbank to the city hall to the excursion boat, show how different your company evening can look: as a reception in the foyer, as a gala evening in the hall or as a cruise on the water. Please check directly with the venues which occasions they allow.
Where you celebrate in Mülheim determines the sound setup: A hall on the western bank of the Ruhr calls for something different than a building in Broich or a ship. Room size and guest count are therefore my first questions.
In the banquet hall I pay attention to the reverb, in the foyer to the walkways between reception and dance floor. We discuss the programme items and their order in advance; delivery and setup of the equipment are my job.
The venue on the western bank of the Ruhr lists conferences and congresses, trade fairs and business events. It has a banquet hall of 800 square meters and a Ruhr foyer with a 350-square-meter terrace above the river. The operator lists technology and catering on its own pages; whether my equipment can be used is something you settle with them.
The Knights' Hall, the fireplace and coat-of-arms room and the Tecklenburg chambers are listed for private and business events. You can find out from the venue how many guests each room holds and which equipment is permitted; I then adapt set and volume to the rooms.
This independent-scene theater is housed in a building from 1904 with several stages. Rental inquiries go to the venue by email, and it lists 200 lit parking spaces and accessible rooms on the ground floor. Ask the venue which company parties the rooms are suited for.
The shipping company has been departing from the Wasserbahnhof for almost 100 years and advertises charter cruises for corporate events, weddings and birthdays. You agree the ship, capacity and program with the shipping office. How much equipment is allowed on board is decided by the shipping company, not by me.

I learned my trade in the nightclub and have since accompanied more than 1450 events, private and business. In the initial conversation we clarify with you when there will be tributes, dinner and speeches, and when the music may fill the floor.
If shifts end at different times, I plan the atmosphere for everyone who joins later. I bring the equipment, wireless microphones and soundcheck; if the venue has its own technical team, I coordinate directly with them.

From seventies soul to current charts: We set your program in advance, and I blend the styles into a whole.
My setup takes about 40 minutes and needs roughly 2.5 by 1.5 meters of space; after the last track I pack everything up again. About 2.5 m wide and 1.5 m deep is enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.

For galas and company anniversaries too, I hold myself to the same standard as at any other celebration, from the first guest at the door to the farewell.

These are the questions organisers ask me most often, and if yours is missing, simply pick up the phone.
+49 176 700 580 27I contact him before the event, sort out connections, positions and times, and bring only what you're missing. That way everyone knows who sets up what at your venue, and nothing is duplicated on the night.
I start with tracks that support conversation and let the energy grow as the groups begin to mix. If you tell me beforehand who is coming, I shape the running order accordingly.
We agree beforehand who speaks when, and I fade the music out on your cue. Once the last speaker is done, I bring the music back up without a jolt going through the room.
For parties of up to 150 guests, my standard setup is enough with no extra equipment. If more people come or two floors are involved, I introduce you early on to a technical partner I work with.
Four to eight weeks should lie between enquiry and date, so that arrangements, briefing and a listening test are possible without rush. For large events and peak season, enquire earlier; you will receive a reply the next day.
That works: have the suggestions gathered within the house and send me the selection. Requests go into the planning; titles you do not want to hear, I will strike.

For your party in Mülheim, first tell me the occasion, date and number of guests. In a video call we discuss music, program and room with you, and before the date a short briefing on the stations of the evening follows. Setup and sound check in the empty room take a good 40 minutes, and my own system covers up to 150 guests; for more, I bring in partners.

Transparency
An evening made up only of Ballermann and schlager hits is not my programme. A few sing-along classics go down well at any company party, but for me they are an extra, nothing more. Nor do I offer techno that leaves the guests out, request lists that are worked through rigidly, or festival formats with several stages. If that's what you're looking for, you're better off with colleagues who specialise in it.
I mix live for guests who expect an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, more than pressing play. That is why I tell you in advance what I don't do, so that you aren't disappointed on the night.
If that doesn't suit your event, I'm not the right DJ, and that's perfectly fine. If it does, we'll sort out everything else together.
