Company parties in Pforzheim

Company parties in Pforzheim.

Whether congress hall, top floor or industrial building: venues in a city of jewellery manufacturing differ greatly, so I first ask about your programme and your space. Six venues, from the congress hall in the city centre to the gasometer on the edge of town, show how different your company evening can turn out: as a gala in the great hall, as a Christmas party in the countryside or as a reception above the rooftops.

Congress hall or gasometer: corporate event in Pforzheim

From a congress hall of over 1,800 square metres to a reception high above the rooftops: in Pforzheim you will come across very different room sizes. My equipment follows the room, and for a quote please tell me the occasion, the format and the number of guests.

In a listed industrial building I deliberately stay discreet, and for a venue with terraces in the countryside we agree how the programme and the outdoor area work together. First we set in the briefing when there will be dinner, speeches and dancing, then I arrive with my own equipment and pack everything up again after the event.

CongressCentrum Pforzheim

Bertha-Benz-Platz 1, Pforzheim

The Great Hall offers over 1,800 square metres of floor space, and the venue lists galas, banquets, anniversaries and staff events as occasions. For a hall of this size, I coordinate sound and setup with you and the venue early on.

TurmQuartier Forum

Poststraße 3, Pforzheim

The Forum is an assembly and event venue with 300 square metres, an LED wall and its own foyer, with a separate catering area and a separate entrance. How stage, equipment and dance area relate to each other, we clarify with you beforehand.

TurmQuartier Skylounge

Poststraße 3, Pforzheim

According to the operator, the Skylounge on the 16th floor is suitable for prestigious company parties and offers a 360-degree view from a height of 75 metres. At such a height, I keep the system and cables unobtrusive and set out clear procedures.

Hohenwart Forum

Schönbornstraße 25, Pforzheim-Hohenwart

The house in the countryside lists year-end events, kick-offs and Christmas parties as corporate occasions and offers barbecues on the terraces. If your evening moves between the room and the terrace, I plan the transition so that programme and music fit together.

Altes Kurhotel

Würmtalstraße 117, Pforzheim

The house in the Würmtal lists conferences, galas and company parties as occasions, with a hall, vaulted cellar and courtyard for up to 150 guests. Because only one event takes place per day, we agree the times for setup and sound check with the operator.

Gasometer

Hohwiesenweg 6, Pforzheim

The Gaskessel, built in 1912, is now an event and exhibition venue with a 360-degree panorama. In a listed building I ask in advance which equipment is permitted, and I keep the setup lean.

I looked up all the details on rooms, occasions and areas on the operators' websites (October 2026). Which dates are still open, you can only learn from the respective venue.

Who I am

Michael Zimmermann – beats per micha.

Knowing when there is talking and when there is dancing decides how I shape the music for your evening in Pforzheim. I learned this in the club, later private and corporate celebrations followed, more than 1450 events so far. In a phone call or video call, we work out with you where the welcome, speeches and dancing belong.

My own edits connect the phases of your evening without an audible break. My equipment, including wireless microphones, travels with me, and I handle setup and the sound check myself.

Everything behind
the mix

Your workforce often spans several generations, which is why I put soul and current charts in the same set. With your commission, I plan the music step by step up to the closing track.

The set develops from the mood in the room, and I only take the microphone in hand for speeches and program items.

An evening that is planned beforehand

It starts with your wish list, and I clarify the details directly with the venue and the other service providers. Whatever doesn't suit your occasion stays out, according to your instructions.

Music genres

We discuss beforehand which styles should play, from seventies soul to today's charts, and I tie them together into one continuous set.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

I am ready before doors open, set up the system calmly and clear everything away myself after the last track. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup location, no stairs or elevators) the setup takes around 40 minutes.

Gala ballroom with stage, set tables and DJ booth (AI-generated) Premium

Gala & Awards

Gala or anniversary: I work as carefully for your evening as for any company party, from the first arriving guest to the farewell.

Optional: extras

If you'd like live music, a photo station or uplights as well, I plan these building blocks with you together in one go.

Good questions

What organizers in Pforzheim want to know.

Here is what organisers usually ask me before booking, and for anything else you can simply call me.

+49 176 700 580 27
The hall at our place has a built-in sound system: do you manage with the existing equipment, or do you set up your own speakers?

That depends on the condition and size of your system. I ask for photos and technical data beforehand and then tell you whether I connect my controller or set up my own speakers.

Instead of eighty, suddenly a hundred and twenty colleagues show up: does your equipment reach a limit?

I build reserve into the sound reinforcement, so an increase goes unnoticed. My own system is enough for up to about 150 guests; beyond that I bring in technical partners and let you know early.

Our managing director is giving a longer speech: how does your music handle that?

I build the speech into your schedule, take the music away in good time and fade it back in calmly afterwards. The wireless microphone only handles announcements if you want it to.

We start in the foyer and move into the hall later: how does the mood carry over?

In the foyer the music stays at conversation level, and in the hall I build up the energy step by step. We plan the move with a time buffer and coordinate it with your venue.

We would like to host a Christmas party in Pforzheim: what lead time is usual for you?

Four to eight weeks is usual for me; in the Advent season it's best to plan a bit more. You get my reply the next day, and the invoice follows after the event.

We want a violinist to play at our annual reception: do you arrange that?

I will take care of that: from my network a female violinist comes and plays along to my mix, and saxophone, percussion or vocals can be added just the same. In the initial chat we work out together where in the evening the violinist will have the most impact.

What sets me apart

DJ+ – my extra for special evenings.

If you'd also like vocals, violin, saxophone or percussion at your company party, I'll put you in touch through my network. We choose the best moment in the schedule in the briefing.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Main-time peak · gala champagne reception

DJ + saxophone

For the reception on a terrace, a saxophone fits well, accompanying the transition into the evening softly and elegantly.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Summer party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

In a large hall, percussion gives the mix drive and groove without a whole band having to be set up.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Live-band feeling · party time & special moments

DJ + vocals

A singer brings hits live to the stage and gets your staff singing along.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Galas & awards · music from the first note

DJ + violin

At a gala in the congress hall, a violin lends the evening dignity, because its sound creates a festive atmosphere right when the guests are welcomed.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

If you want live music already at the reception or dinner, I'll arrange a well-rehearsed band of two to four musicians for you. After that I keep playing without a break, and because the planning is in my hands, I remain your single point of contact.

I am also behind the decks for your corporate events in Niefern-Öschelbronn, Mühlacker and Remchingen, and you will find further places I play at the bottom of the page.

This is how we work together on your company event in Pforzheim: you first tell me the occasion, date and expected number of participants, then we clarify music, schedule and room by video call. Right before the date, I go through the schedule with you in the briefing minute by minute. On the day of the event, I'm on site before doors open and check the sound in the still empty hall. A manageable group is served by my own system, and for large events I bring in technology partners.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

A programme made up exclusively of party-anthem and Schlager hits doesn't suit me. Guests at any company party like a few sing-along classics, but building the whole evening on them isn't my style. I'm also the wrong contact for techno sets with no connection to your guests, for wish lists that run rigidly from top to bottom, or for multi-stage festivals. Colleagues who love exactly that take such jobs.

My craft is live mixing for guests who want an evening with a feel for the moment: clean transitions, the right track at the right time, instead of just pressing play. That's why I'd rather tell you beforehand what I don't do than have you disappointed on the night.

If that doesn't fit your event, I'm not the right person, and that's perfectly fine. If it does fit, we'll discuss the details.
