Gelsenkirchen has 266,199 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2025), spread across five city districts with 18 neighbourhoods. The nickname City of 1000 Fires recalls the coking plants that burned off surplus gas; FC Schalke 04 was founded on 4 May 1904. The Emscher has been considered free of wastewater since 1 January 2022, and on the Rhine-Herne Canal a park sits on a former colliery.
Whether you celebrate in Buer, in Horst or on the border with the neighbouring cities makes no difference to my planning. Gladbeck, Bottrop, Herten, Herne and Recklinghausen are also part of my service area.

I learned my craft in the nightclub, where a decision at the decks determines within seconds whether the floor is full or empty. Today I count over 1450 events, more than 650 of them weddings, plus company evenings and birthdays in halls, pubs and gardens.

Everything included.
Sound and lighting for rooms of up to about 150 guests, wireless microphones for speeches and backup equipment come to every party. On request I add uplights, a photo booth, an audio guest book or live music to the DJ set. We discuss the schedule and music calmly beforehand, so that nothing is left open on the day itself.
