Wedding venues in Braunschweig
Ballroom, locomotive hall or a hotel by the nature reserve: I ask about the room, the in-house system and the outdoor area beforehand, because venues in Braunschweig differ greatly in size and acoustics. Five venues show how different weddings in Braunschweig can look: an event venue with a ballroom, a hotel on the edge of Riddagshausen, a hotel at Berliner Platz, a hall among historic locomotives and a venue on the Ringgleis. How the equipment is set up in each venue, we discuss before the celebration.
In Braunschweig you can celebrate in a ballroom, among old locomotives or in a hotel on the edge of the pond area. Which system I bring, I only decide once I know the house and the room.
In a city of engineers and researchers, your guest list is a colourful mix: age groups and tastes lie far apart. A single genre rarely lasts into the night, which is why I include tracks from different decades.
The Panoramic offers several rooms, from the Wintergarten for 20 to 50 guests to the Grand Ballroom for 200 to 400 guests, all with a dance floor; movable, soundproof walls adapt them to the number of guests. Because the rooms can be changed, I adjust the setup and positioning to the size you choose, so your dance floor feels neither too empty nor too cramped.
The Seela sits on the edge of the Riddagshausen nature reserve, runs the restaurant Helmuts and, by its own account, hosts smaller celebrations such as weddings. In a venue surrounded by greenery, we decide together whether the sparkling wine reception and the dancing take place in the same rooms and where the speakers are best placed.
The hotel at Berliner Platz offers flexibly designed rooms for up to 250 guests and lists weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas parties and company parties as occasions. In a city hotel I work out with you where the equipment goes and how to keep speeches clear throughout the room.
The Lokhalle measures 614 square metres, is up to 11 metres high and, according to the Lokpark, holds up to 900 people, depending on how the historic locomotives and carriages are positioned; large and private celebrations are mentioned. In such a tall hall I first listen to how the sound carries and align the speakers accordingly.
The westand has stood on the Ringgleis since 2019 and lists concerts of all genres, company parties and private events as occasions. Because the venue also hosts concerts, we talk through in advance how much sound system a wedding evening really needs.
The details on rooms and occasions come from the operators' own websites, as of October 2026. Whether the venue is free on your day and how many guests fit in, you clarify directly with the operator.
I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
Who I am
If you get married in Braunschweig, your guests may bring colleagues from the research world, friends from the stadium and family from the countryside. That is why I ask beforehand who is coming, how old the guests are and what must not be played under any circumstances. I learned the craft in a nightclub, and celebrations of every size followed, until over 25 years and more than 1,450 events added up, over 650 of them weddings.
With my own edits I blend tracks from several decades into one another, so that cousin and colleague are on the floor at the same time. By the end, people should feel that this was exactly your celebration.

When you book, I unlock your wedding portal. There you enter special moments, no-gos, favourite songs and the schedule, and about a week before the celebration we go through everything by phone.
I am at the venue before your guests arrive. I set up, listen to the room, you settle last details with the speaker and the photographer, and afterwards I keep to the background.
Music carries the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit. Subtle lounge music plays at the drinks reception, and outdoors without a power socket a battery provides the sound.
Calm background music plays during the meal. Your speeches go through the wireless microphone, and for games, surprises and the bouquet toss I choose the right music each time.
You open the dancing with your requested edit, then the party begins. I read the floor, change the set live and keep every generation moving until the last track.

I arrive in good time before the first guests, set up calmly, test the sound and clear everything away myself after the party. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) setup takes around 40 minutes.

I can accompany a ceremony without mains power: the entrance, ring exchange and exit run on a powerful battery.
A photo station, live music, uplights and an audio guest book can be booked through me if you like, and I take care of the coordination.

In a high-ceilinged hall I first listen for where the sound gets stuck, and only then place the speakers. That way your speeches stay clear even in the back row.

My setup is compact and needs little space by the wall. My standard system covers up to about 150 people, and all you need to show me is a normal power socket.
Then an equally qualified colleague from my network steps in, and nothing changes for you in the agreed terms.
