I have more than 25 years of experience and over 1450 events behind me, more than 650 of them weddings. Wedding venues in Chemnitz
A castle hall, a villa salon and a hotel garden all sound different, so above all else we clarify how large the room is, how many guests are coming and where the dancing will take place. I introduce five venues to you: a moated castle and a castle hotel in Klaffenbach, an Art Nouveau villa, a Baroque castle with its park near Niederwiesa and a hotel in Rabenstein, each with its own schedule.
Chemnitz offers you a wide choice for your wedding day: a moated castle on the edge of the city, an Art Nouveau villa on the Kapellenberg and a castle park just outside the city. Stone vaults and open park paths call for different setups, which I agree with you in advance.
If you share a story with Chemnitz, such as studying at the Technical University or your first evening at the Schloßteich, I work a song into the right moment of the evening. Setup begins early enough that the sound is ready when your reception starts.
The Renaissance castle was built between 1546 and 1549 for the Annaberg master of the mint Wolf Hünerkopf and stands, surrounded by a moat, on the southern edge of the city. It is used for concerts, conferences and weddings. Where the dancing takes place and where the speakers go, we decide once you have chosen your rooms.
Within the castle grounds, the hotel presents two historic wedding suites, plus a vaulted restaurant with a wine library as well as the Taube bar and salon. A vault carries sound differently from a hall; that is why we check together beforehand where my system works best.
Henry van de Velde built the villa in the Art Nouveau style between 1902 and 1903 for the textile manufacturer Herbert Eugen Esche. It is used for concerts, readings and smaller wedding celebrations. For a manageable circle of guests, a slim system is often enough, and the house decides where it may stand.
The Baroque castle belongs to a park with over 335 fountains and offers wedding packages. The ensemble also includes a castle chapel with a Donati organ, a hotel and a castle restaurant. A reception in the park and a celebration in the hall call for two different sound setups, which I separate with you.
The hotel in the Rabenstein district explicitly lists weddings among its occasions, alongside private and corporate events. The website does not name any rooms; which room suits you, you discuss with the venue, and I align setup and schedule accordingly.
The details on rooms and occasions come from the operators' websites and from Wikipedia (as of October 2026). Whether your date is free and how many guests fit, you can only find out from the venue itself.
I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
Who I am
How your wedding in Chemnitz sounds is up to you, and I make it happen. I do without an off-the-peg playlist; the order follows what happens at your tables. With my own edits I link the decades, so that great-grandparents, university friends and neighbours can dance together without a break.
More than 650 of my over 1450 events were weddings, and from that experience I can tell early on whether a room needs energy or calm. In the end, you should be able to say: this is how we wanted to celebrate.
How it works
A short message is enough, and I get back to you within 24 hours. After that, we talk through your wishes in a video call, and I go over the schedule with the venue.
Request a dateSend me the date and venue as soon as you know both; I reply the same day, within 24 hours at the latest. The video call is for getting to know each other and hearing your ideas, nothing is sold there, and afterwards you receive your quote.
With your booking, you get access to the wedding portal. In the web app, you enter favourite songs, no-gos, special moments and the schedule, and about a week before the celebration we go through everything once more by phone.
I am on site before you have even finished getting dressed. Setup takes about 40 minutes, but I arrive well ahead of time, check the sound, clarify details with the speaker and the photographer, and keep the equipment in the background.
During the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit, I accompany the mood with music. Relaxed lounge music plays for the reception that follows, and I plan the equipment so that it also works outdoors.
During the meal, I play a calm soundtrack. Speeches go through the microphone, and games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get their own music.
Your opening dance plays with the edit you have chosen; after that, the party begins. I watch the dance floor, tailor the set to your guests and keep all age groups on their feet until the end.

Disco, nineties, chart hits: which genre comes next depends on what is happening on the dance floor, not on a fixed plan.
Long before the first guest arrives, I am at the venue, set up in peace, listen through the system and pack everything away myself after the celebration. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup area, no stairs or lifts) setup takes around 40 minutes.
Outdoor
I provide the music for an outdoor humanist ceremony, from the entrance to the ring exchange and the exit, with technology that stays out of sight.
Photo booth, live music, uplights and audio guest book can be combined with me, and I take care of coordinating them.

Yes, tell me the title and I will find a clean recording. I trim it to the length of your entrance, so nobody has to rush.
I start with songs everyone knows and pick up the tempo as soon as the dance floor fills. I place your shared favourite song where it has the most impact. What must never be played, you tell me in advance.
You choose a song, and I cut it to the length you feel comfortable with. If you only want to dance for a minute, I move straight into the next song afterwards, so your guests can join in right away.
June Saturdays are in demand, so it is best to get in touch about six months ahead. If your date is still free, I confirm it within a day.
I ask in advance where stands, cables and speakers are allowed, and I bring felt glides that protect floors and walls. I lay the cables so that nobody trips over them. For up to 150 guests, the standard system I bring anyway is enough.
