I am Michael Zimmermann, and I accompany your wedding celebration in Erfurt with music, from the sparkling wine reception among the flower beds to the last dance. I have looked after more than 1450 events since my beginnings at the mixing desk, over 650 of them weddings. Wedding venues in Erfurt
Between flower beds, glasshouse and old town hall, every setting needs its own planning, which is why I first ask whether you celebrate indoors, outdoors or in both places. I introduce five venues, three of them in the egapark with its themed gardens, plus a park restaurant and the Kaisersaal in the old town, and for each one I plan the technology and schedule together with you.
Anyone getting married in Erfurt celebrates among the themed gardens of the egapark or in a house in the old town, and each calls for different technology from me. A glasshouse, a pavilion and a historic hall all sound different, so I get the dimensions and conditions from the venue before I decide on the setup.
If the day has a theme, I collect your song requests and everything that must not be played during our first conversation. Well before the first guests arrive, I am in the room to test.
The egapark lists the reception hall as a venue for smaller gatherings. According to the operator it has 200 square meters and, depending on use, room for up to 130 people, with fixed lounge seating included. How lounge seating works with a dance floor, I think through with you beforehand.
According to the operator, the Mainzpavillon lies in the middle of the park, measures 140 square meters and holds 80 people. For a wedding in a small circle, it is a setting where I manage with a slim system and don't drown out the conversations.
If you are planning something really big, the operator recommends the desert and jungle house Danakil, with 326 square meters of event space, a 100 square meter foyer and room for 250 people. A glasshouse throws sound back differently from a hall, and that is exactly what I listen for in the room beforehand.
According to the operator, the Caponniere restaurant has 150 square meters, 80 seats inside and 150 seats outside. If you celebrate partly under the open sky, we work out together where the speakers go, so the garden doesn't get louder than the hall.
The Kaisersaal is a cultural and congress center in the old town, and according to Wikipedia the historic hall holds up to 560 people. Its name recalls the visit of Napoleon and Tsar Alexander I in 1808. For such a tall hall, I set up the sound and layout specially.
Rooms, capacities and occasions come from the operators' websites and from Wikipedia, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free and how many guests actually fit in, you can only find out directly from the respective venue.
I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
Who I am
Your wedding in Erfurt should sound like the two of you, and I hear that in our first conversation. My career began in 1998 behind the mixing desk of a nightclub, where I learned to keep a full hall moving. Later came celebrations for families and companies, and today my experience covers more than 650 weddings among over 1,450 events.
I take care of transitions nobody notices: my own edits bring Schlager, soul and chart hits together, so that aunt, best man and colleague dance together. Your day stays at the center.
How it works
A short message is enough, you get an answer within 24 hours, and after that a video call, agreements and setup lead you to the opening dance.
Request a dateSend me the date and venue as soon as both are fixed, and I will reply the same day or within 24 hours at the latest. There is no sales pressure in the video call, just getting to know each other, ideas and then your quote.
Everyone who books gets the wedding portal: in this web app you gather special moments, no-gos, favorite songs and the schedule. About a week before the celebration, we talk on the phone and go through everything together.
While you are getting ready, I am already on site, at least two hours before the start. I set up, check the sound, discuss details with the speaker and the photographer, and keep the technology unobtrusive for the guests.
For the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit I use the music deliberately to set the mood. At the reception subtle lounge music creates atmosphere, and if there is no power outdoors, the system runs on battery.
During dinner I provide a calm soundtrack. Speeches run through the wireless mic, and games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get the fitting sound.
You open the dance with your chosen edit, and then the party begins. I watch what the dance floor wants, adapt the set spontaneously and keep young and old moving until the end.

I combine disco classics, nineties hits and current chart music, and what gets played is decided by the mood of your guests and not by a rigid list.
I am with you two hours before the start, set everything up calmly, check the sound and dismantle it myself after the celebration. About 2.5 m width and 1.5 m depth are enough for that, and under normal conditions (car close to the set-up location, no stairs or lifts) the set-up takes around 40 minutes.

For the music at the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit, no power socket is needed, a strong battery carries the whole ceremony.
If you want a photo station, live music, uplights and an audio guest book together, you get everything from one source, and I take care of the coordination.

+49 176 700 580 27Yes, my battery operation makes it possible: no power socket is needed for a reception out in the greenery. I will check in good time with your venue whether music is allowed outdoors.
Beforehand I check the acoustics of the room and set the volume so that people can talk at the table and still dance. If the venue has rules, I stick to them.
I watch who stays seated and change the style before the floor empties. In my edits, Schlager, soul, pop and club sounds flow into one another. Whatever must never be played, you put on your list in advance.
I can bring in vocals, saxophone, violin or percussion from my network, and they join my mix. I bring the performance in best at the reception or the opening dance.
Yes, I then set up a smaller system that suits the size of the room. My standard package covers celebrations of up to about 150 guests, and at the booth I only need one power socket.
As soon as the date is set, ideally as early as the winter before, because summer Saturdays are in demand. For other dates I often plan with three to six months of lead time. You will know within 24 hours whether my calendar is open for your day.

Service area
I also take on your wedding in Weimar, Arnstadt and Gotha and bring my system myself. If your venue is elsewhere in Thuringia, the list of places below shows where else I travel.
To begin, you send me the date, venue and the approximate number of guests. In the video call we then talk about your music, the schedule and the moments that matter to you, and shortly before the celebration we go through everything once more together.
