Wedding venues in Kiel
Before I settle the sound system and schedule, I ask about the hall, the terrace and the area by the water, because wind and space on the fjord each call for their own planning. I introduce five venues to you, from the hall on the Kiellinie through the hotel with a rooftop terrace and the banker's villa in the Düsternbrooker Gehölz to the house on the Baltic beach in Heikendorf, and for each one I plan the setup and flow together with you.
Your celebration in Kiel can take place on the Kiellinie, in a hotel with a view of the fjord, in a villa with a garden or on the other side of the fjord on the beach. I listen to how a room carries sound in advance, before I decide on speakers and desk.
Outdoors I take the wind into account, in a high hall the reverberation. If you have favourite tracks or songs that should not be played, write both down for me in advance. For the desk and speakers I need only 2.5 x 1.5 metres, and I am set up after about 40 minutes.
The operator lists the Kaisersaal for weddings and large events: 200 square metres, seven-metre-high ceilings and room for up to 150 people. If more guests are coming, the Kommodoresaal can be connected, and the bar looks out over the fjord. With ceilings this high, I listen to the acoustics before I set up the speakers.
The hotel by the main station lies on the fjord and lists the Förde event room with panoramic fjord views for up to 250 people for the party afterwards. For the toast there is, according to the operator, a roof terrace 38 metres up. Whether we start upstairs or downstairs determines where I run my cables.
The hotel is housed in a historic banker's villa with a spacious garden and a view of the fjord. According to the operator, celebrations are possible in a small or a very large group, from 10 to 160 people. If you spend the reception in the garden, we will plan the transition into the rooms with you.
Right next to Hotel Birke is the Traditionshaus Waldesruh, with two event rooms and a foyer, 270 square metres in total. The operator gives examples with 50 people including a buffet and with 85 people including a dance floor. We discuss how you use the rooms before I plan my sound system.
The hotel lies on the Baltic beach in Möltenort and hosts weddings of up to 100 guests. For the drinks reception, the operator lists the outdoor area on the beach side. On the beach the wind carries the sound away, so I plan in advance where the speakers should stand.
Rooms, capacities and occasions come from the operators' websites, as of October 2026. Whether your preferred date is free and how many guests fit in, you can only find out directly from the respective venue.
I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.
Who I am
Your wedding in Kiel should sound like you, so I start by asking about your wishes. My career began at a disco booth, where I learned to get a mixed crowd dancing. Since then I have accompanied private and corporate celebrations, and over 650 weddings are part of more than 1450 events.

How it works
You write me a short message, I reply within 24 hours, and after that a video call, arrangements and setup accompany you right up to the opening dance.
Request a dateOnce both are set, date and venue, write me a short message, and you will hear from me the same day, within 24 hours at the latest. Nobody puts you under pressure in the video call, it is about getting to know each other and about ideas, your offer follows afterwards.
With your booking, the wedding portal is yours. There you collect special moments, no-gos, favourite songs and the schedule in the web app; about a week before the celebration we talk by phone and go through everything.
I arrive in good time before guests are let in, set up in about 40 minutes, check the sound and go over details with the speaker and the photographer. I keep the equipment unobtrusive for your guests.
For the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit I use the music deliberately to set the mood. At the reception subtle lounge music creates atmosphere, and if there is no power outdoors, the system runs on battery.
I give the meal a calm soundtrack. Speeches go through the microphone, and games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get the right sound.
You open the dance with your chosen edit, and then the party begins. I watch what the dance floor wants, adapt the set spontaneously and keep young and old moving until the end.

I blend disco classics, 90s hits and current chart music, and what actually gets played depends on the mood of your guests, not on a rigid list.
My spot at the booth measures 2.5 x 1.5 metres, setting up takes me about 40 minutes, and after the party I pack everything down myself. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth is all I need, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) setup takes around 40 minutes.
Outdoor
For the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit at your wedding ceremony, my music runs without a power cable, and a strong battery lasts the entire ceremony.
If you want a photo station, live music, uplights and an audio guest book together, you get everything from one source, and I take care of the coordination.

Wind carries sound away, so I place the speakers close to your guests and keep the level low enough that you can still talk. Whether equipment is allowed up there and where the power is, I clarify with the venue beforehand.
Outside I keep the music quieter so people can still talk, and in the hall I build up the atmosphere. When I want to fill the dance floor, I bring everyone in with a well-known track.
My own system is enough for up to 150 guests; the desk and speakers need 2.5 x 1.5 metres for that. I am set up after about 40 minutes, and in a very high hall I position the speakers differently.
That can be arranged, because I get the order of the contributions from you beforehand. Before each item on the programme I take the music back and bring it up again afterwards.
