Wedding venues in Koblenz

Weddings in Koblenz.

Before I plan the system and the schedule, I ask about the house, the room and the outdoor space, because a palace garden, a winery courtyard and a hotel hall each need a different set-up. I introduce four venues, from the palace on the Rhine bank and a winery at the foot of the fortress to two hotels, and for each I plan the set-up and schedule together with you.

Palace garden, wine courtyard or hotel ballroom: a wedding in Koblenz

If you marry in Koblenz, you can choose between gardens on the Rhine, courtyards below the fortress hill and halls in the middle of the city. Each of these settings sounds different, and only once I know your venue do I decide on the speaker placement and the schedule.

Outdoors or in a courtyard I keep the level down, while in a hall it can get fuller. We go through your wish list and the list of off-limits tracks beforehand in a video call. I need about 40 minutes for setup, and my system takes up around 2.5 by 1.5 metres of floor space.

Kurfürstliches Schloss

on the Rhine bank, Koblenz

The palace was built from 1777 to 1793 for Elector Clemens Wenzeslaus and sits parallel to the Rhine bank, its garden dropping in terraces down to the river. Since the Federal Garden Show, the city of Koblenz has rented out the state rooms in the central wing for events. Whether you celebrate inside or in the garden decides where my speakers go.

Weingut Göhlen

Mühlental 33, Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein

The winery lies in the Mühlental at the foot of Festung Ehrenbreitstein and has belonged to the same family since 1921. According to Koblenz-Touristik there are tasting rooms for up to 120 people and a Mediterranean courtyard. Whether the winery also hosts wedding celebrations is something you should ask there directly; for a courtyard among the vines I plan the technology to be quiet and weatherproof.

CONTEL Hotel Koblenz

Pastor-Klein-Straße 19, Koblenz

Besides conferences and corporate events, the hotel expressly mentions private celebrations. According to the operator the ballroom measures 378 square metres and can be divided into two halves. Based on your guest count we decide together whether the whole hall or just one half makes sense.

Hotel Stein

Mayener Straße 126, Koblenz

The family-run house has 30 rooms, bright spaces and its own restaurant, Schiller's Manufaktur & Brasserie. How your celebration is arranged there, you learn from the hotel itself; I tailor my setup to the room you get.

I took the details on rooms, spaces and occasions from the operators and official sources (as of October 2026). Only the venue itself can tell you whether your preferred date is free and how many guests fit.

Celebrant-led ceremony in Koblenz

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

Who I am

Servus, that's me, Micha.

Your wedding in Koblenz should sound like you, which is why I start by asking questions. My start came in 1998 in a nightclub, where I learned how to read a full dance floor. Private and company celebrations followed, and the number grew to over 1450 events, more than 650 of them weddings.

What matters to me is that the music carries without pushing itself forward. Self-cut transitions connect songs from different decades, so that family, friends and colleagues dance together. In the end your guests should say: that was exactly your celebration.

How it works

From the inquiry to the last hour of your wedding in Koblenz.

You write me a short message, you get a reply within 24 hours, and after that a video call, arrangements and setup accompany you right through to the opening dance.

Request a date
  1. Enquiry & first chat

Send me the date and venue as soon as both are settled, and I reply the same day or within 24 hours at the latest. The video call comes without any sales pressure; it is about getting to know each other, about ideas, and only then about your quote.

  2. Booking & portal access

Everyone who books gets the wedding portal: in this web app you gather special moments, no-gos, favorite songs and the schedule. About a week before the celebration, we talk on the phone and go through everything together.

  3. Set-up & sound check

While you get ready, I'm already at the venue. I need around 40 minutes to set up, then I check the sound, go through the details with the officiant and the photographer, and keep the technology unobtrusive for the guests.

  4. Ceremony & reception

I accompany the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit with fitting music. Calm lounge music plays in the background of the reception, and if there's no power outdoors, a battery runs the gear.

  5. Dinner & programme items

During dinner I provide a calm soundtrack. Speeches run through the wireless mic, and games, surprises and the bouquet toss each get the fitting sound.

  6. Opening dance & party

To kick off the party, you dance to your requested edit. After that I read the dance floor, keep steering the set, and make sure every generation stays with us until the end.

Everything behind
the mix

At my weddings, soul classics and current chart hits stand side by side in the same evening, because several generations often sit at your tables. From the first inquiry to the final song, the music is in one hand.

What plays next I decide by the mood in the room; with me, the microphone belongs to the speeches and the programme items.

You decide the color of the room, LED uplights make it happen, and the light follows the music over the course of the evening.

The photo station works on its own during the celebration, saves every picture in a private online gallery and, if you wish, prints copies straight away for your guests.

Your guests' photos land with you through Feierblick, with no app needed; I only recommend the external service, and you book it independently of me.

Equipment that doesn't stand out

I bring two wireless microphones, lighting effects, a Pioneer or Denon console and speakers from RCF or Electro-Voice.

On the retro telephone, guests record their good wishes on tape, and after the celebration I cut the recordings into a finished audio file for you.

I answer your inquiry within 24 hours, and we stay in constant contact until the wedding day.

An evening that is planned beforehand

We sort out song requests and no-gos right in the initial conversation, and afterwards I coordinate the details with your venue and the other vendors.

Music genres

Whether disco classics, the nineties or current charts, I let your guests' mood decide what comes next instead of following a rigid list.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

For setup I need about 40 minutes, then I check the sound in peace, and after the party I take everything down myself. About 2.5 m of width and 1.5 m of depth are enough for that, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or elevators) setup takes around 40 minutes.

Symbolic wedding ceremony

For the entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit of a celebrant-led ceremony, my music works without a mains cable; a powerful battery carries the entire ceremony.

Everything from one source: if you want to combine a photo station, live music, uplights and an audio guest book, the coordination runs through me.

Frequently asked questions

What couples in Koblenz want to know.

Here is what couples usually ask me before booking, and for anything else you can simply call me.

+49 176 700 580 27
We want to hold the reception outdoors and there is no power connection: can we still have music?

That can be done too, because I play on battery power and do not need a socket. Where you may set up equipment outdoors depends on the venue, so please ask there before I arrive.

We would like to get married on the Rhine promenade in Koblenz: will you play the music for it?

I play the music for the entrance, the ring exchange and the exit from pieces you have chosen yourselves, and my battery supplies the power. For the spot on the riverbank you may need a permit, which you arrange yourselves with the city or the owner.

Our guests are between eight and eighty years old: how do you get everyone onto the dance floor together?

I watch which table nobody gets up from and play the very track that draws that group. I mix disco, soul, charts and German schlager so that one generation after another joins in. Whatever must not be played at your wedding, you add to my list.

Does it have to be a whole band right away, or is there also a single violinist for the reception?

Yes, I bring musicians from my network who play violin, saxophone, vocals or percussion alongside my set. Their performance is strongest at the reception or the opening dance, and we decide together with you when exactly they play.

We are only celebrating with thirty people: is a DJ still an option?

Yes, even with thirty guests I set up a compact system for you. My standard system serves up to 150 guests, provided there is a single power connection at the desk.

When should we contact you if the wedding date has just been set?

Best right away, even if you only celebrate next year. That way you keep your choice of summer Saturdays, and within 24 hours I tell you whether your day is free.

Even more options

DJ+ – live musicians right inside my mix.

If you would like live music for the reception or the ceremony, I can arrange saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin for you. When the performance works best, we sort out in good time before the celebration.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Sparkling wine reception · First dance

DJ + saxophone

A saxophone with the aperitif in the courtyard gives the reception a soft, elegant opening, especially when the evening slowly turns to dusk.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

After dessert, percussion gives the beat more punch, and the dance floor fills almost by itself.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Entrance · special moments

DJ + vocals

Live vocals turn your celebration into a concert night, and once the party is going, your guests sing along at the mic.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Ceremony · bride's entrance

DJ + violin

A violin accompanies your entrance with a solemn sound and gives the meal the feel of a gala evening.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

    Non-stop Ballermann, après-ski and schlager?
I'll gladly slip in the right hit when it suits the mood.
A whole evening in that vein, though, is not my style.

Some DJs have specialised in exactly that.
You'll be in good hands with them.
    That's perfectly legitimate.
    I just work differently.

I specialise in live mixing at demanding events.
For anyone who knows that DJing is a craft.
    Precise transitions.
The right song at the right moment.
More than playing a ready-made playlist.

If that doesn't suit you, I'm not the right DJ, and that's fine.
If it does, then very gladly.
