Your wedding in the City of Peace sounds like you and not like a template.

Your tables may seat students, tradesmen's families and relatives from the surrounding villages, and for that mix I build a programme that brings everyone along. Wedding venues in Osnabrück

Weddings in Osnabrück.

Ballroom on Pottgraben, a hotel by the city wall or a hall at the Piesberg: I ask beforehand about room size, the venue's own system and the terrace, because Osnabrück venues sound very different. Five addresses show you how different a wedding in Osnabrück can be: a hall on Schlosswall, a ballroom on Pottgraben, an inn with timber framing, a historic hall at the Piesberg and a hotel at the city wall. How I set up the equipment in each venue, we discuss before the celebration.

Ballroom, half-timbering or hotel: weddings in Osnabrück

In Osnabrück you can choose between a large hall, a ballroom, a hotel by the city wall and a historic hall on the hill. Which equipment makes sense there, I can only tell once I have the floor plan and guest count.

Your tables will mix generations and backgrounds, from doctoral students to farming families. A single style rarely lasts until the final track, so I move between decades and genres without any break.

OsnabrückHalle

Schlosswall 1-9, Osnabrück

The OsnabrückHalle lists 1,089 square metres for its Europa-Saal and space for 620 guests at a banquet with round tables; it names social events and parties among its occasions. In a hall of this size we work out together where the dance floor and speakers go, so that your speeches stay clear right to the back row.

Alando Palais

Pottgraben 60, Osnabrück

The Alando Palais spreads private and business events across eight areas, names weddings as an occasion and describes its ballroom as a place for balls and dance events. As the venue offers its own equipment and help with the reception, we clarify beforehand what the venue provides and what I contribute.

Romantik Hotel Walhalla

Kleine Gildewart 11, Osnabrück

The Walhalla describes itself as Osnabrück's oldest existing inn and lists weddings as a separate offering; its half-timbered house on the Bierstraße dates back to 1690. How much equipment a historic building can take, we discuss with you and the venue before I set anything up.

Piesberger Gesellschaftshaus

Osnabrück

The historic hall of the Gesellschaftshaus dates from 1896 and holds 70 to 150 people depending on the seating; as private celebrations the venue lists weddings, birthdays and anniversaries. As a listed building it sets limits on decoration, so I agree the setup and positioning beforehand with you and the venue.

Hotel Remarque

Natruper-Tor-Wall 1, Osnabrück

The hotel, named after Erich Maria Remarque, offers wedding celebrations with up to 240 guests including festive menu, wedding cake and wedding dance; terrace, garden and conservatory lie by the old city wall. If you celebrate between hall and garden, we plan the guests' routes and the sound for both areas together.

The details on rooms, capacities and occasions come from the operators' own websites, as of October 2026. Whether a venue is free on your day, you can find out directly from the operator.

Humanist ceremony in Osnabrück

I provide the music for your symbolic wedding ceremony, from the entrance through the ring exchange to the exit, with a sound system that runs without a power outlet, indoors or outdoors, and I bring a wireless microphone for your celebrant.

Who I am

Servus, that's me, Micha.

If you are getting married in Osnabrück, you will probably invite friends from university, relatives from the hill country and colleagues from the family business. That is why I want to know in advance who is coming, which generations will sit at the table and which songs must never be played.

I learned my craft in a nightclub, and celebrations of every size followed, for more than 25 years now and over 1450 events to date, including more than 650 weddings. Edits made by my own hand connect the decades, so grandparents and university friends dance to the same song. In the end, everyone should feel that this evening belonged to you alone.

How it works

From the enquiry to the last hour of your wedding in Osnabrück.

Write to me with when and where you are getting married, and you will have an answer the next day. Video call, wish list and setup follow in that order until the dance is opened.

Request a date
  1. Enquiry & first chat

As soon as the date is fixed, a short message to me is enough; I usually reply the same day, at the latest within 24 hours. In a video call we talk through your ideas without any pressure, and then you receive your quote.

  2. Booking & portal access

Once you book, I open your wedding portal. There you enter favourite songs, no-gos, special moments and the schedule, and about a week before the celebration we go through everything by phone.

  3. Set-up & sound check

I am at the venue before the first guests arrive, set up and check the sound in the empty room. I clear up any open points with the speaker, photographer and venue, and then step back into the background.

  4. Ceremony & reception

The entrance, the ring exchange and the exit each get their own music. At the sparkling wine reception, quiet lounge music plays, and outdoors without mains power the battery-powered system takes over.

  5. Dinner & programme items

A calm soundtrack accompanies the meal. Your speeches run through the wireless microphone, and for games, surprises and the bouquet toss I choose the right music each time.

  6. Opening dance & party

You open the dance with your chosen edit, then the party begins. I watch the floor, adapt the set on the spot and keep all age groups moving until the very last track.

We settle music requests and no-gos in the first conversation, and I coordinate everything else with your venue and the other suppliers.

Music genres

Soul, the nineties and current chart hits sit close together in my sets, and the mood of your guests decides what plays next.

Set-up and tear-down without any effort from you

I arrive in good time before the first guests, set up calmly, test the sound and clear everything away myself after the celebration. About 2.5 m in width and 1.5 m in depth are enough, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup area, no stairs or lifts) setting up takes around 40 minutes.

Frequently asked questions

What couples in Osnabrück want to know.

Here is what couples usually ask me before booking, and for anything else you can simply call me.

+49 176 700 580 27
Our guest list mixes university friends, craftsmen's families and relatives from the surrounding area: how can that be brought onto one dance floor in Osnabrück?

I open with tracks that grandchildren and grandparents both know, and watch who gets up first. From there I widen the set step by step in the directions you give me beforehand.

We are getting married in a listed hall: is equipment allowed there at all, and how much?

It is best to check this with the venue, and I follow its rules. My setup is compact, so I can offer you a solution that does not interfere with the room.

When should we enquire if we want to get married on a September weekend?

As soon as your date is fixed, because autumn weekends are in high demand among couples. I reply within 24 hours and tell you whether the day is still free.

What happens if we plan the celebration outdoors and it suddenly rains?

Tell me early whether the terrace, garden or hall is planned, and name the backup room. My compact setup is easy to move, so I can relocate with you if the weather turns.

We cannot waltz: is it enough if we simply choose one song for the opening dance?

That is perfectly fine, and I edit the track so that you ease in gently. After the first minute I bring more couples onto the floor so nobody is left dancing alone.

How much space does the set-up need, and is our socket on the wall enough?

For my setup I allow an area of about 2.5 by 1.5 metres, and a normal socket is enough. The standard system covers up to about 150 guests, and for more I add speakers.

Even more options

DJ+ – live musicians right inside my mix.

If you would like live music at the reception or ceremony, I bring in musicians from my network for saxophone, vocals, percussion or violin. We decide on the timing together.

Saxophonist in warm backlight 01

Sparkling wine reception · First dance

DJ + saxophone

At the aperitif a saxophone gives the reception a warm sound, especially in the evening light on the terrace.

Percussionist on congas in backlight 02

Party peak · energy on the dance floor

DJ + percussion

Percussion adds extra drive to the beat after dessert, and the dance floor fills almost by itself.

Singer with a microphone in backlight 03

Entrance · special moments

DJ + vocals

A singer brings a concert atmosphere to the room and later invites your guests up to the microphone.

Violinist in warm backlight 04

Ceremony · bride's entrance

DJ + violin

A violin accompanies the entrance with ceremony and frames the meal that follows so that the evening takes on the character of a gala dinner.

Band with a singer and musicians as silhouettes in the stage lighting 05

An evening without a break.

First the band, then the beats

Live music for the reception or dinner, and then a full DJ night anyway? Through my network I can arrange a well-rehearsed band, from a duo to a quartet, with vocals, guitar, piano, percussion or saxophone. Because everything is planned by one person, there is one point of contact, one sound concept and no gap between band and DJ.

Who i'm not the right DJ for

    Non-stop Ballermann, après-ski and schlager?
I'll gladly slip in the right hit when it suits the mood.
A whole evening in that vein, though, is not my style.

Some DJs have specialised in exactly that.
You'll be in good hands with them.
    That's perfectly legitimate.
    I just work differently.

I specialise in live mixing at demanding events.
For anyone who knows that DJing is a craft.
    Precise transitions.
The right song at the right moment.
More than playing a ready-made playlist.

If that doesn't suit you, I'm not the right DJ, and that's fine.
If it does, then very gladly.
