Wedding venues in Remscheid
Large banquet hall, farm function room with a stage or party room in the district: every room in Remscheid sounds different, so I ask about the venue first. Six addresses show how different a wedding in Remscheid can be: a banquet hall for up to 300 guests, a farm function room with a stage, a light court, a party room in the district and two event venues with a dance floor. We will discuss together how my system fits the respective room.
In Remscheid you celebrate in large halls for several hundred guests as well as in courtyard halls with a stage or in party rooms in the district, and every size calls for different speakers. Only once I know the guest count, floor plan and ceiling height do I fix the setup and level.
In a large hall the sound has to carry to the last row, in a small courtyard hall the music must not overwhelm. For setup I plan 40 minutes, in which I also test the empty room.
The operator names weddings as an occasion and states a capacity of up to 300 people, around 200 with banquet seating. A sound system with microphone and a 4 by 3 metre screen are included, and a mobile stage can be booked additionally. How my system works alongside the house equipment, we agree beforehand.
The venue describes the atrium as the central event hall for up to 150 guests and lists weddings among its occasions. If you prefer to celebrate small, there are the forums with 36 and 90 seats. Which room is free on your day, you find out there, and afterwards I plan the setup.
According to the operator, the function rooms offer space for 40 to 80 people, plus a stage area for entertainment music and room to dance. A farm with more than 300 years of history sets its own frame; for this size a slim system that does not drown out voices is enough for me.
Stage, dance floor and bar are in a single room, and service and drinks are included with every booking. The venue explicitly mentions weddings. Since lighting and sound equipment are part of the offer, we clarify early what you want to use and what I add.
The room measures 100 square metres and is rated for up to 100 people. According to the operator, a music system, a stage for live acts or speeches, a bar and a large dance floor are available. For a wedding of this size we agree on how the house system and my rental system complement each other.
On the operator's site wedding, gala and company party are listed side by side, plus an in-house catering team with festive wedding menus. How many guests fit into the hall, you ask the venue; afterwards I fix speakers and dance floor.

Who I am
If you marry in Remscheid, guests from Lennep, Lüttringhausen, Hasten and the rest of the Bergisches Land come together, and each group brings its own favourite music. So that every generation finds itself in the music, I combine tracks from several decades into custom edits.
You enter song requests and no-gos in advance, and in the evening nobody at the table notices how precisely everything was coordinated. We discuss the menu sequence, speeches and interludes beforehand, and if you like, you go through the day with me once more by phone a week before the celebration.

After booking, the wedding portal opens, a web app for requested songs, no-gos, special moments and schedule. About seven days before the celebration we speak by phone and go through the day calmly.
On the wedding day I arrive at the venue in good time, set up in 40 minutes, test the empty room and coordinate with the speaker, photographer and service staff. If there are stairs or narrow access points, we plan the route for the equipment with the venue beforehand.
The entrance, the exchange of rings and the exit are accompanied by the pieces you have chosen. At the reception, quiet music plays that gets conversations going.
During the meal I keep the music in the background; a wireless microphone is ready for speeches, and for games, surprises and the bouquet toss I choose a separate track each time.
Your requested edit opens the dancing. After that I watch the floor and change the set bit by bit, until young and old celebrate the last track together.

I mix soul, disco, pop and chart hits in the proportion your guests respond to; I do not work from a rigid track list.
For setup and soundcheck I plan 40 minutes, the system needs about 2.5 by 1.5 metres, and after the last track I pack up myself again. About 2.5 m in width and 1.5 m in depth are enough for that, and under normal conditions (car close to the setup spot, no stairs or lifts) setup takes around 40 minutes.
Outdoor
If the ceremony is to take place outdoors, I supply the entrance, ring exchange and exit with a battery-powered speaker, even without a power connection.
Photo station, live music, uplights and audio guest book can be added, and I take care of the arrangements.
