DJ Jena · districts and Saale valley
From Lobeda to Wenigenjena and up onto the limestone slopes: music that suits your celebration.
Jena lies in the Saale valley between steep limestone slopes, and since Carl Zeiss and Ernst Abbe the city's name has stood for optics and science. I am Michael Zimmermann, and at your celebration the mood in the room decides which track comes next. How the evening should go, we discuss beforehand, calmly, by phone or video call.
“We couldn't have wished for a better DJ.”

You get exactly one shot. I had 1,450 to practise.
Micha is a great DJ. He is super nice and implements everything exactly as agreed. I can absolutely recommend him.

Occasions
Every card leads to its own page: choose the one that fits your date in Jena or the Saale valley.
Under the dome, in the mountain inn or in the concert hall: the music accompanies your day from the reception to the final track.
Whether Christmas party, summer party or anniversary: the right music brings lab, sales and administration together in one evening.
From a thirtieth in the pub room to a seventieth in the hall: the tracks follow your guests and your taste.
Around Jena
In 1846 Carl Zeiss founded an optical workshop in Jena, and Ernst Abbe turned it into a company with a worldwide reputation. Add to that the university, founded in 1558, and the Jentower at 144.5 metres. This combination of precision and curiosity is a model for my sets: precisely crafted and never pushy.
Your celebration can take place in the city, on one of the hills above the Saale, or in a village in the Saale valley. Dornburg, Kahla, Stadtroda and Weimar are also part of my service area.

About me
Behind the decks of a club, from 1998 I learned how a room breathes and when a track comes too early. Today I have more than 1450 events behind me, over 650 of them weddings, plus company evenings and birthdays of every size.
The page on Google gives you a first impression: 60 reviews, an average of 5.0 stars. What I play depends on the age of your guests, on how many there are, and on what the evening means to you.
As a lecturer at DJ Allianz e.V., I give workshops on transitions and on reading the dance floor. That helps especially where researchers, craftspeople and relatives come together.

Services
Sound and lighting for rooms of up to about 150 guests, wireless microphones for speeches and backup equipment come to every party. On request I add uplights, a photo booth, an audio guest book or live music to the DJ set. We discuss the schedule and music calmly beforehand, so that nothing is left open on the day itself.

Yes, I mix classics, chart hits and house and watch what the floor accepts. We discuss requests and no-go songs in advance.

Even more options
If you want a voice or an instrument alongside the DJ set, you can book live musicians from my network. They perform between the tracks and blend into the evening, whether the celebration takes place in a hall, on a terrace or in a beer garden. We decide together which line-up fits.
01
Reception · Opening dance
A saxophone over mellow house gives the reception warmth and turns the first dance into a small performance.
02
Entrance · Surprise
A voice accompanies the entrance or surprises the birthday guest of honour when they least expect it.
03
Late evening · Dance floor
Drums and rhythm instruments drive the evening forward as soon as everyone is supposed to get moving after dinner.
04
Standing reception · Festive dinner
The violin plays at the standing reception or during the meal and lends the evening splendour in the hall, on the terrace or in the garden.
