DJ Leipzig · Districts and Neuseenland
From Plagwitz to Gohlis and out to the lakes: music that suits your celebration.
In a city where choirs, orchestras and clubs have shaped the sound for centuries, guests listen closely. My name is Michael Zimmermann, and at your celebration the music follows the people in the room. How the evening should go, we talk through beforehand, calmly, on the phone or in a video call.
“We couldn't have wished for a better DJ.”

You get exactly one shot. I had 1,450 to practise.
Micha is a great DJ. He is super nice and implements everything exactly as agreed. I can absolutely recommend him.

Occasions
Behind every card is a page of its own: choose the one that fits your date in Leipzig or at the Neuseenland.
In a small palace, a vaulted cellar or an old factory hall: the music carries your day from the first glass to the last song.
Whether Christmas party, summer festival or anniversary: the music brings together departments that otherwise only know each other by email.
From a thirtieth in a club to a seventieth in a salon: the tracks follow the guests and your taste.
Around Leipzig
The Thomanerchor has sung since 1212, the Gewandhaus Orchestra has existed since 1743, and since 1632 the city has shown more new books than Frankfurt. I take that as motivation for my sets: clean transitions and a sound that does not boom, even in small rooms.
Your celebration can take place in the heart of the city, on a former factory site in Plagwitz or at one of the Neuseenland lakes. Markkleeberg, Schkeuditz, Taucha and Zwenkau are also part of my service area.

About me
My first evenings at the mixing desk were more than 25 years ago, in a discotheque, where it became clear that music only works when it suits the people in the room. Since then I have been part of more than 1450 events, over 650 of them weddings, plus company evenings and birthdays of every size.
If you would like to read up beforehand, Google shows 60 reviews with an average of 5.0 stars. Which tracks I play depends on the age of the guests, their number and the occasion.
I also lead workshops at the DJ Allianz e.V., on clean transitions and reading the mood of a room. In a city whose audience brings a fine ear, that is exactly what helps me.

Services
Sound and lighting for rooms of up to about 150 guests, wireless microphones for speeches and backup equipment come to every party. On request I add uplights, a photo booth, an audio guest book or live music to the DJ set. We discuss the schedule and music calmly beforehand, so that nothing is left open on the day itself.

+49 176 700 580 27I bring the music, the sound system and, if you like, the announcements, whether you are celebrating in Plagwitz, Gohlis or Connewitz. How your evening is structured is up to you, and I make it happen.
All Leipzig districts and places such as Markkleeberg, Markranstädt, Schkeuditz, Taucha, Zwenkau and Delitzsch. Just tell me where the party is.
Ideally as soon as the date is fixed, because the most popular Saturdays go first. Within 24 hours I will let you know whether the day is still free.
When several generations sit at the same table, I mix classics, chart hits and house, and watch what the floor responds to. We settle requests and no-gos beforehand in a conversation.
A second setup, including a spare laptop, is always in my luggage, whether it is in Lindenau or at Cospudener See. If something fails, the music carries on without a break.
Write to me via the form or call, whether you are celebrating in the centre or in Markranstädt. I will get back to you within 24 hours, invite you to a no-obligation video call and send you a personal quote afterwards.
Then enquire right away, before another couple or team books the same Saturday.

Even more options
If you would like a voice or an instrument alongside the DJ set, you can add live musicians from my network. They perform between the tracks and blend into the evening, whether the party is in a hall, a vaulted cellar or by a lake. Which line-up fits, we decide together.
01
Reception · Opening dance
A saxophone over mellow house gives the reception warmth and turns the first dance into a small performance.
02
Entrance · Surprise
A voice accompanies the entrance or surprises the birthday guest of honour just when they least expect it.
03
Late evening · Dance floor
Drums and rhythm instruments drive the evening on when everyone should get moving after dinner.
04
Standing reception · Festive dinner
The violin accompanies the standing reception or the meal and adds glamour to the evening in the hall, on the terrace or in the garden.
