Since 1972 the moers festival has brought jazz and new music to the town at Whitsun, and a successful evening shares something of that: it can surprise you without losing the thread. I am Michael Zimmermann, and I mix for weddings, company parties and birthdays in Moers and on the Lower Rhine. What you want to hear, we discuss beforehand by phone or in a video call.

Moers was for a long time the main town of its own county, received its town charter on 20 July 1300 and today has a good 100,000 inhabitants in three districts. Where the Rheinpreußen colliery once produced coal, spoil heaps and a listed winding tower now shape the landscape, and the castle houses a museum and a theatre.

About me
A mix that connects districts.
I learned my craft in the nightclub, where it becomes clear after a few bars whether a track works. By now it is over 1,450 events, including more than 650 weddings, plus company evenings and birthdays from the living room to the hall.
Across 60 Google reviews the average is 5.0. Before I say yes, I want to know who is coming, how old the guests are and which songs must absolutely not be missing that evening.
At the DJ Allianz e.V. I run workshops on transitions and on reading the dance floor. In a town where neighbours, clubs and businesses from three districts come together, that helps me at every celebration.

Everything included.
Sound and lighting for rooms of up to about 150 guests, wireless microphones for speeches and backup equipment come to every party. On request I add uplights, a photo booth, an audio guest book or live music to the DJ set. We discuss the schedule and music calmly beforehand, so that nothing is left open on the day itself.

Then I start with tracks everyone knows and move the selection on step by step. What you do not want to hear, you note down beforehand.
What happens if a device fails?
I bring a second setup, including a spare laptop. If a device fails, I switch over and the music keeps playing.
