Whether Wald, Ohligs or Gräfrath, whether Haan, Hilden or Remscheid: I'm Michael Zimmermann, and I mix what works for your guests. Since 19 March 2012, Solingen has officially carried the title Klingenstadt (Blade City), and the celebrations here take place in castle halls, factory halls and half-timbered houses, each with its own sound. We discuss how the evening is built up beforehand by phone or in a video call.

Solingen is home to 164,621 people, spread across five districts from Gräfrath to Ohligs. At 107 metres, the Müngstener Brücke is the tallest railway bridge in Germany, and Schloss Burg sits on a rocky spur around 100 metres above the Wupper.
Whether you celebrate in the Wupper valley, in Wald or Ohligs, or in a neighbouring town like Haan, Hilden and Remscheid, makes no difference to me. Leichlingen, Langenfeld and Wermelskirchen are also among the places where I play for you.

At the booth for every celebration.
I learned to DJ in a nightclub, and ever since I have decided according to the crowd in the room. Over 1,450 events have come out of it, more than 650 of them weddings, as well as company evenings and birthdays from the living room to the big hall.
My work shows in 60 Google reviews with an average of 5.0 stars. Before I touch a track list, I want to know who is coming, how old the guests are and what the evening should mean to you.
At the DJ Allianz e.V., I give workshops on transitions and on reading the dance floor. In a city that owes its reputation to fine finishing, that fits well: a transition, too, comes together piece by piece.

Everything included.
Sound and lighting for rooms of up to about 150 guests, wireless microphones for speeches and backup equipment come to every party. On request I add uplights, a photo booth, an audio guest book or live music to the DJ set. We discuss the schedule and music calmly beforehand, so that nothing is left open on the day itself.

I bring the sound system, lighting and wireless microphones myself and take care of setup and soundcheck. We agree on the music beforehand, and I decide how the evening unfolds on the dance floor.
Which districts and neighbouring towns do you cover?
All five districts and places like Haan, Hilden, Leichlingen and Remscheid. Tell me the location of your celebration, and I'll let you know whether the day is still free with me.
We have a date but no commitment yet: how soon should we write?
Write to me as soon as the date is set, because the most popular Saturdays go first. Within 24 hours you'll know whether your day is free with me.
Young and old celebrate together at our event: what music will be played then?
I mix soul, pop, rock, disco and current chart hits according to how your guests respond to them. What you don't want to hear, you tell me in advance.
Our hall is in a historic building with narrow access: will the equipment fit in?
My standard setup is compact, setup takes a good 40 minutes and about 2.5 by 1.5 metres. We clarify stairs, lift and the route to the dance floor in advance, and a few photos are enough for me.
What happens after my enquiry?
You'll get my answer within 24 hours. In a non-binding video call we get to know each other, and afterwards you receive a personal offer.
