Whether Elberfeld, Barmen or Cronenberg, Solingen or Remscheid: I am Michael Zimmermann, and I mix what works for your guests. In a city where the Schwebebahn suspension railway has run above the Wupper since 1901 and many streets climb steeply up the hillside, celebrations in villas, halls and large venues are as different as the districts. We talk through how the evening will be built beforehand, by phone or in a video call.

Schwebebahn, valleys and hillsides.
The Wupper flows for about 20 kilometres through Wuppertal, and the Schwebebahn has run above it since 1901, with 20 stations. Around 357,000 people live here, spread across ten city districts with 69 neighbourhoods, from the Gründerzeit quarters in Elberfeld to the heights of Cronenberg.
Whether you celebrate in the valley, in a neighbourhood like the Luisenviertel or on the Ölberg, or in a neighbouring town such as Solingen, Remscheid and Hagen, makes no difference to me. Velbert, Haan and Schwelm are also among the places where I play for you.

Behind the booth for every celebration.
I learned to DJ in a nightclub, and ever since, what matters most to me is whether the music suits the people in the room. More than 1450 events have come out of it, over 650 of them weddings, plus company evenings and birthdays from the living room to the grand hall.
My work is reflected in 60 Google reviews with an average of 5.0 stars. Before I touch a playlist, I want to know who is coming, how old the guests are and what the evening should mean to you.
At the DJ Allianz e.V. I run workshops on transitions and on reading the dance floor. That helps in a city where a party in the Luisenviertel sounds different from one on the heights of Ronsdorf.

Everything included.
Sound and lighting for rooms of up to about 150 guests, wireless microphones for speeches and backup equipment come to every party. On request I add uplights, a photo booth, an audio guest book or live music to the DJ set. We discuss the schedule and music calmly beforehand, so that nothing is left open on the day itself.

I bring the sound system, lighting and wireless microphones myself and take care of setup and soundcheck. We talk through the music together beforehand, and I read the flow of the evening from the dance floor.
Where around Wuppertal do I play?
In all ten city districts and in towns such as Solingen, Remscheid, Hagen, Velbert and Schwelm. Tell me where your celebration is, and I will let you know whether I am still free that day.
The date is set, but nothing is booked yet: How soon should we write?
It is best to write to me right away, because popular Saturdays are the first to go. Within 24 hours you will get my answer on whether your date is still free.
Our group is a mix of young and old: What music will be played then?
I mix soul, pop, rock, disco and current chart hits according to how your guests respond. Anything you definitely do not want to hear, you tell me beforehand.
Our hall is on a slope, and the way there leads up stairs: Can the equipment still get in?
My standard system is compact, setup takes a good 40 minutes and needs about 2.5 by 1.5 metres. We clarify stairs, lift and the route to the dance floor beforehand, and photos or a short description help me with that.

You will receive my reply within 24 hours. In a no-obligation video call we get to know each other, and after that you get a personal quote.
