In Ostbayern every party starts with me with a preliminary talk in which I take in the occasion, the guests, the schedule for the day and the musical taste at leisure. From that comes a running order with must-play tracks, no-go lists and fixed programme points, which gives me direction without tying me down. What matters in the end is the moment, because whether people are currently dancing, talking or eating decides the next track.
What makes an evening unforgettable is rarely easy to explain. It's the moments in between - the ones you feel before you understand them.

About me
Hi there, this is me Micha.
It all began for me in 1998 in the club, since 2004 it has been private and corporate parties, and to this day more than 1450 events. Anyone who gets in touch with me for Ostbayern gets a fixed contact person from the start and a reply within 24 hours. Questions are welcome at any time.
First we talk, by phone or video call, about guests, schedule and music, and it is not a sales pitch. On the night I stay in the background, because the music speaks, and my own edits connect the tracks. I take care of set-up and sound check myself, and I bring a second controller and laptop. Whether wedding, company party or birthday, the reliability stays the same.

Once you get in touch, I arrange a get-to-know-you chat by video, send the offer afterwards and call you again a few days before the celebration to clear up any last questions.
For weddings, birthdays and corporate events in Ostbayern I do not put together a one-size-fits-all programme, but develop the set from what you tell me about the guests, the occasion and the schedule.
Advice, sound system, set-up and support on site come bundled, so you only have to call one person if something needs clarifying in between. In addition to the music, I can bring a photo station, uplights and an audio guest book on request, and I coordinate each of these extras with the location and other service providers.
🧰When do you set up, and does that disturb our sparkling wine reception in the same room?
I am ready about two hours before the guests arrive, and I agree the exact time with the venue beforehand so that the reception and the set-up do not get in each other's way. If the room is still in use beforehand, we will find a time slot together in which I can set up without disturbance. After the last track I also take care of the tear-down, so you do not have to worry about anything.
🎼Can we decide in advance which tracks are off limits?
Yes, in the preliminary talk we put your must-play tracks and your no-gos in writing before I even plan my set. On the night I stick to them and only add what suits the mood in the room. I am happy to take spontaneous requests from your guests, but I decide myself whether they fit the flow of the evening.
🤒Who takes over our evening if you suddenly drop out on the big day?
If a booking falls through, I send in a colleague from my network whom I have chosen myself and to whom I pass on your arrangements in advance. That way an experienced DJ is still behind the decks, and your programme stays in place. I would rather explain this safeguard to you before the booking, so you can plan without worry.
🏘️Can I enquire about my party in Ostbayern even if my place is not on any city page?
Yes, you can enquire about me from any of the municipalities in the three districts below, even if you do not find a page of its own there. You will find your place in the list of the respective district, and a short entry in the form is enough for us to get talking. The size of the place does not change the slightest thing about the music, the equipment or the personal service for your evening.

Since the post-war period, Ostbayern has meant the Bavarian administrative regions of Lower Bavaria and the Upper Palatinate, which border the Czech Republic and Austria in the east.
This area contains three districts, each surrounding an independent city, once as an enclave in the middle of the district, once as a closed ring and once on the border with Austria.
All three districts are shown below with their full lists of municipalities, and in each of the 114 municipalities I accompany celebrations of every kind with the same care.
Landshut district lies in the west of the administrative region of Lower Bavaria and surrounds the independent city as an enclave, and the Isar divides its area into a northern and a southern part. It has 35 municipalities, and besides the city with its own pages, which lies as an enclave in the middle of the district, all the others are in the list below.
Regensburg district lies at the far south of the Upper Palatinate, completely surrounds the independent city and borders three Lower Bavarian districts to the south. Its 41 municipalities are spread across the valleys of the Laber, Regen and Naab, the Falkenstein Vorwald and the foothills of the Franconian Alb, and the city in the middle has pages of its own.
The Passau district lies in the administrative region of Lower Bavaria on the border with Austria, and the Danube separates its smaller southern part from the larger northern part in the Bavarian Forest. It has 38 municipalities, and the city it surrounds has its own pages for all three occasions; all the others are in the list below.
An evening made up exclusively of Schlager, Ballermann and Après-Ski is not for me, and I owe you that honesty before the booking and not only on the big day. Individual tracks from those genres still find their way into the set if the guests really want them at that moment. What I offer is hand-crafted mixing with transitions nobody notices, and a feel for when the room is asking for a different style.
Festivals with several stages or non-stop techno sets that run without a look at the dance floor are not my territory either. If you are looking for an evening that follows the guests, feel free to get in touch.
